1  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: 14 Quilt Projects in 2014 Quilt Along! on: July 25, 2014 12:46:15 PM
That is very true but I need practise on the patchwork part as well as the quilt part and I can't do the latter until I've completed the former  Grin
I might enjoy the quilting part more if I had a full size machine, even small things are a big pain with my 3/4 size machine.

I might have to fake swap with myself for this  Cheesy

Yes it is 12.5" whoohooo!  Cheesy
I haven't got #4 pieced yet but I'll add it later.
I love finding a use for all those little pieces that I thought were too small to be useful although I can't see myself getting into making crumb quilts!

These will all become cushion covers when I get around to adding the backs  Smiley The first two I was just sewing bits together and hoping for the best, the third one I decided to try an easy block I'd seen listed in the quilt block swap to see if I can actually make things the right size when it matters  Cheesy #4 will probably be a star block as well,I do love starry designs.

Love the fabric on your grocery bags that1girl  Smiley

I've been raiding the recycling bin for this next project - boxes from plastic bottles  Grin From a 2 litre drinks bottle I made a 3" x 4" box

Its wonky but it showed me that it can be done  Cheesy
The second one is a 2.5" x 2.5" from a 1 litre bottle
Yes,I'm one of those people who mix Imperial & Metric measurements  Roll Eyes

I came across the idea on Pinterest. I think they will be perfect for my recycled beer can Xmas decorations  Smiley
