I made a skirt from a free pattern on the Lekala website, I had to trace the pattern from my lap top as I don't have a printer, it was a PITA to do but I think the skirt came out nice enough  Smiley I wouldn't normally wear checked fabric but it was a huge piece from my stash so I knew I would have enough to make my skirt.

Today I successfully shortened hubbys new jeans 5" keeping the original hem intact so I am counting it as a project for my list Smiley From a 34" inside leg to a 29"

Beautiful! The scalloped edging really adds a special touch.

I had to go back and find the jeans refashion , Bunny I'm in shock   Shocked I do the opposite and add more fabric to make my jeans flared! I can remember tapering mine and my friends jeans when we were still at school, they were so tight she couldn't get her foot through the bottom *lol* good thing I didn't cut off the excess before she tried them on  Grin

Quantumphysica your choker is beautiful and I seriously doubt anyone could spot the size difference in the beads  Smiley

The legs belong to my Junker Jane style bunny who is attached to my mirror frame  Grin I have a lot of swappsies dotted around my craft room.

Same pattern, another variation. This one has pockets but no slit as I didn't want to spoil the embroidery. I also cut it longer to use the whole piece of fabric. I love Indian textiles the colours are always so vibrant and I do love colour  Grin last summer I bought three Salwar Kameez sew-it-yourself sets for under 5 each. Each pack contains enough fabric for pants (salwar) tunic (kameez) and a chiffon scarf (dupatta) This purple top and the red one I posted earlier are from those sets.I'm glad to have finally got around to making something with the fabric.

Posing in my new hat  Wink I'm currently rummaging in my supplies for things I can embellish the hat with, I need to make them removable so I can have different looks.

Bloom #2
modified to fit the piece of fabric I had available so this one is less full overall, the neck isn't as wide and the armholes aren't as deep, also no pockets. I still love it and will make more  Grin

Kookaloo, your tunic seems very light and airy, perfect for a hot summer day. Maybe your husband would like it better if it were a bit smaller, as more fitted. I don't like fitted clothing very much myself and rather enjoy flowing tops that let air around my body. Do what you like, you're the one who will be wearing it!
Yep, hubby would like it more form fitting but I wanted the loose look, I'm glad I didn't go for the bigger size though! I will be making at least one more ready for summer  Smiley
