I've noticed a difference already this evening, can't think why I didn't make them years ago  Roll Eyes
I think I will use the rest of the fabric to make a door curtain for the front door.

What a beautiful balletninni  Grin

Todays project isn't pretty but it is practical. I made two double draught excluders, one for the kitchen door/back door and one for the living room/front door. We have terribly draughty outer doors which I can't do anything about but I CAN make sure the draughts don't encroach on our living space, so I did  Smiley
They're stuffed with the inners from a couple of old pillows.

Sorry  Roll Eyes I've found them to be pretty good size wise and haven't had a problem with fit, I would say to go higher rather than smaller if you're a half size.
Keeping it crafty Hubby promised me new shoes for any new dresses I make  Grin

So pleased someone noticed my awesome shoes  Cheesy my SiL introduced me to a wonderful website everything5pounds and I have been on a shoe shopping spree ever since  Roll Eyes

Anna, the green dress was made from copying the purple dress I haven't had to cut anything up, I laid it down on paper and drew around most of the shapes but for the armholes and the darts I stabbed a pin through the dress to mark the paper to get the right curve.
My next one will be plain red  Smiley

I added an extra 1.5" to the length of the bodice on this one so the waistline is closer to my natural waist. I also made the skirt a little longer. I feel like it needs a fancy hat and a wedding invitation  Grin it is a lovely soft jersey fabric and it feels great on.

Thanks for the comments on my dress, I'm making another one today  Grin Blue and brown paisley jersey that I bought ages ago and never got around to using. I used to shy away from colours and patterns, got sucked into the "fat women should wear dark, plain clothes" mindset but not any more  Grin fat women, like thin women should wear whatever the hell they like  Cheesy

LOVE that tiny fish pond in a tin, it is very realistic!

I bought the purple dress and copied it to make the green version  Grin I had to make the green one as I'd bought green shoes and had nothing to wear with them  Cheesy
My Beloved says I ought to make more in every colour I can get hold of AND he will buy me matching shoes! I think it's the shock of seeing my legs that did that to him *lol*

I'm getting off to a very slow start, I have the winter blues and can't get to grips with anything much but here is a big grocery bag I made today from a home dec remnant. Its approx 20" x 20" with a 4" gusset. I'm giving it to my SiL as I have some stuff to send her anyway and it may as well travel in a nice new bag  Grin

A remnant of home dec fabric became a BIIIG grocery bag this afternoon  Smiley Smiley I'm giving it to my SiL as I don't need it myself.
