Brief Bio, News in Your Life, etc:

I dream of swapping with: gingerquilts, luckdragon, untouchableface, craftylittlemonkey, limeriot, batgirl, kittykill,alwaysinspired, fantasticmio, and many many more talented members to be added as I fall in craftster love!

I am always looking for new and exciting crafts to try...I like to keep busy and find that I do not feel quilty watching TV if I do something creative!

I am an admitted collector of junk to repurpose into something unexpected. I mostly collect old wool sweaters and vintage fabrics, and anything I can use in the garden

I want to do more crafts based on my Japanese heritage but with my Western twist...I am also part Cherokee so I have an interest in anything to do with Indian art, medicine, spirituality, and lifestyle...I love to howl at the full moon as well...it calls to me...

I believe people can control their own lives by the choices they make...and everything is connected so one wrong choice and you get the domino effect!

I think it is easier to be kind than it is to be mean to people...that is not to say I am a pushover or a Pollyanna...I can be as tough as I need to be, but mean is not an option...

I hate complainers as they solve nothing...I try to avoid energy vampires in my life because they contribute little to what I call my journey to enlightment...

I have a great hubby, great friends, great family, and a great job...I love my life but I worked hard for it...so I am going to enjoy it and spread whatever joy I can through kindness and creativity.

I am easy to please and delight in simple, everyday things...watching people develop into wonderful, joyous and fulfilled human beings is a true gift, that is why both my hubby and I teach music and art...

There is no greater gift you can give than of yourself...but that self has to be wanting nothing in return except the joy of knowing and loving another person with no strings attached...

All my friends keep me grounded and if I get out of line, they kick my butt and get me back to where I need to be...usually when that happens, we need to have a party where everyone is reminded why we like each other...good food, good wine and good friends...does life get any better than that?

If I like you, I would lay down my life for you...I am tough to get to know because I am pretty private because of a past that is too painful to share and does nothing but keep the negativity in control instead of me, so I don't share it except with the closest of friends...and pretty much, it is NOYB! Cheesy

I really am this perky and goofy in real life--it is sometimes annoying, but I accept it as what I am and so do my friends and coworkers!
