I had to fold it a little because apparently I sent out the largest towel ever made, but you get the idea. Thanks so much Lizards! You guys rule!

Here's my addition to sonjabegonia's John Hughes themed towel:



It's Emilio Estevez's letterman jacket patch from The Breakfast Club. Here's the image source: http://noozeez.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/Emilio-Estevez-Breakfast-Club-196x300.jpg I used 3 strands for the whole thing and used chain stitch for the circles, long and short stitch for all the filling, back stitch for outlining, and seed stitch for the white around the wrestlers.

Here's a picture of what I stitched on ThirdMargaret's towel - it's a flyer for a Haunted House:



I altered the image quite a bit as far as the lettering goes, but everything else is the same just simplified. Most is done in 2 strands, but the small details are done in 1, and the red letters and moon are done in 4. Most is back stitch with some seeding, chain stitch, and stem stitch.

She didn't have a theme so I checked out her wists and saw some sugar skull/calavera/dia de los muertos stuff that I also have in my wists, so I went with that. I looked up calavera on wikipedia and found this image:

I received from I Sew Cute last night! She embroidered my kitties!!! I love them SO much! She did such an amazing job, they look so realistic! If you want to see the actual photographs they're all on my flickr. Here's the goods:

I made these for I Sew Cute, my partner in the Set of Tea Towels Swap Round 2. I used Takara Blythe names, but drew the dolls myself so they don't really look exactly like their namesakes. I took little bits from a lot of different sources and combined them all to make these patterns. I got the border and banner from Kittyzilla's Watchmen patterns on Flickr, I got the flowers inside the border on Retro Mama from one of the mandala patterns on Flossbox, the border around the 2 "Blythe" towels is from one of the Sublime Stitching books, the candy and the girly bits like the shoe and bag are from pics I found while googling.
