1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Chart Question on: August 13, 2009 09:39:01 AM
I am doing the Meander Mitts a free pattern in Vogue Knitting from Buffalo Gold.

I have done the cuff and now the patterns says this...

Beg Chart

Next row .....

My question is this.  Do I do the whole chart and then start the next row or just do the first row of the chart and then follow the instructions.

Sorry if this is a stupid question I am just really confused.

2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Hmmm Cupcakes! on: June 25, 2008 04:23:42 PM
I love cupcakes and when I found this fabric I had to buy it and then it just sat around for 3 months not being used so I made this cupcake from looking at one of the cupcakes on the fabric and drawing it larger so I could put it on my towel.

This was also my chance to try out my new finca pearl cotton size 8 and 12.  So what do you think?

3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Partridge Tea Towel on: March 29, 2008 08:17:03 PM
I posted this pattern over on flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/beetasticfinds/2365124945/ and had that Partridge family song in my head so I had to embroider it to try and get it out of my head.  I went a little color crazy but I love it.

I was able to use 4 new stitches that I had not done before.

4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Elephant Onesie on: March 02, 2008 08:19:33 PM
I was in a swap and this is one of the items I sent my partner. It is made from one of my vintage embroidery patterns. I just could not stop with the elephant I had to add the border and the blanket stitch on the collar.

Thanks for looking.
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Looking for a Lacy Beanie Pattern on: January 08, 2008 10:27:58 PM
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find or buy a pattern for a hat like this.  My niece loves the american girls dolls and wants a hat like her doll Julie for her Birthday next month and asked me to make one.

Thanks for looking at this.

6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Coffee Anyone? on: November 12, 2007 06:02:20 PM
I made as a part of a housewarming gift.  I found the ribbone then had to match it.

7  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Embroidery Buttons on: October 01, 2007 10:26:06 PM
Last month I joined an embroidery button swap on http://greetingarts.typepad.com/greetingarts/2007/08/e-is-for-embroi.html  We are almost done with the swap so I thought I would post before I send out tomorrow.  They are all 1" and lots of fun to make.  So much that I kind of do not want to give mine away but I will get some more in return.

8  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Hawaiian Girl on: September 05, 2007 12:56:40 AM
Here is what I embroidered on my tea towel before I send it out on Monday for the tea towel tour swap.

9  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Lotus Flower Patch on: August 27, 2007 11:02:12 PM
I did this on the tea towel tour swap we had a while back. My mom liked how it turned out so she asked me to repeat it.  I am not sure what to put it on so I can give it to her.

10  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / DIA DE LOS MUERTOS PATCH on: August 27, 2007 11:00:12 PM
