Mr. Crab arrived home tonight from his trip to Texas!

He was happy to climb out the box, it was stuffed with souvenirs!

Mr. Crab showing off his new skills riding around on a skeleton donkey!

This potholder in crab colors matches him perfectly Smiley

He was eager to show off his adventures in the photo album...

Here he is demonstrating how he learned to comb angora bunnies. He even brought back a baggie of angora fiber! He was eyeing Kahlua, my fluffy cat, so he may have some ill-advised ideas about more fluff-harvesting....

The angora fiber and poultry feathers that he helped collect, ready for future projects.

Cookie cutters - he will have to help with the holiday cookies this year.

Blown eggs! He must have told rockingbearranch that I collect decorative eggs Smiley

Artwork! Mr. Crab made the yellow beads for his own Art-O-Mat project, plus a mini painted artwork of a pretty tree (from an Art-O-Mat?)

Texas bluebonnet seeds for the garden next spring!

Nifty Texas-themed ceramic buttons - Mr. Crab is going to have to learn to sew Smiley

A ton of brochures, postcards, and an article on the rodeo, gathered from his adventures

A big packet of corn tortillas - I had to hide this from the cats, they love tortillas (weird, yes). Mr. Crab is going to make me dinner soon, haha.

A big baggie of tiny goodies! All sorts of great stuff in there - wooden chickens, a tiny fish ornament, an arrowhead, and lots more!

Mr. Crab and the whole shebang:

Wow, what a great swap package!!

Thanks for swapping with me rockingbearranch! Mr. Crab had a great trip!

ps. Bertie says thanks for the box

Sold to artsycandice, thanks!

felted ruffle scarf very thin merino ruffle scarf. short scarf, thin to the point of being semi-sheer in spots but looks opaque when worn. Black center, burgundy ruffles (1)

or white/blue ruffle scarf, also in merino. This one is a bit longer, but has a worse problem with thinness to the point of scattered holes throughout the scarf. I'd consider this a flaw, but maybe someone else considers is a "design element". (1)

The photos came today, so I can work on the scrapbook this week, yay!

Blue Bubun helped out at the Silver Spring Maker Faire on Sunday. It was super busy so we were pretty much stuck in the booth all afternoon.
