This is fantastic! You did a beautiful job - I would never have guessed that you weren't a seasoned bookbinder.

Your swap partner is lucky indeed!

cackle, I Sew Cute, yoopidou - Thanks! It really isn't quite so complicated, it just takes a long time.
I could use your insecticidal soap, for sure.
There are commercial organic neem oil insecticides if you need something fast. Many of those are essentially the same thing. You can also make your own with a plain, mild soap and a little neem oil. Good luck - it can be hard to keep the bugs at bay!

Wow! These are impressive.

What kind of sewing machine do you use?

I love the horses!

You have totally made my month! Malt balls are my favorite candy but the chocolate is often a disappointment. I have tried making my own but never with good results.

What kind of almond bark do you use?

Thanks for posting this!

Thank you, rackycoo!

There is something inspiring about old hardware. It's like it kind of assembles itself, I just exist to move it around. And to buy glue.

This is a wonderful recycling project and your design is elegant.

I will be sending the link to all of the teachers I know - this is perfect for kids!

Howdy soapers!

I posted a tutorial for hot process soap from used veggie oil here:

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=431357.0

It is a natural garden insecticide and laundry/dish/hand soap recipe.

Sorry for the lack of in-progress photos.

Thanks!
