Oh my goodness, such characters. I love them! I think the stalks really make them special too, the little attention to details.

It would be! Now I've thought about it I really want to make some for my Halloween decorations!

I think ladybirds definitely have something about them, they seem universally loved! I made a slightly creepy one last year though (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=419893.0#axzz3B828ODSf) Cheesy

I know exactly how you feel, suereal! I think it's the slowness and the dangley legs, and wanting to be in your face. Ugh! I didn't know their legs could just fall off though. Poor things!

Maybe I need to make some wire versions into a hanging mobile so I can get used to them and they don't freak me out so much Cheesy

I've been obsessed with ladybirds this summer since we had them on our sweetpeas. I never really thought how they grow, so it was interesting to see them develop from larvae to pupa to adult!

Thank you so much!

My parents have an old oak Welsh dresser quite similar to this which I plan to 'wizardise' for my house one day. I keep threatening to take jars of frogs eyes and miscellaneous wizarding things over and leave them on it Cheesy Maybe I'll do that this year for Halloween Grin
