1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / A fox hat for my daughter on: January 01, 2013 05:53:54 PM
she asked for one for Christmas. I'm pretty happy with it. Anyone have any good tricks for really round earflaps? That's probably the part I was least happy with...

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Gobble gobble baby on: December 14, 2012 07:10:45 PM
I keep forgetting to post this, so it's a bit late! I made this turkey hat from a pattern on ravelry (is it okay to post the link?).

It's pretty stinkin' cute and, all in all, not too complicated.

I love it so much I want to sew some holly on there and make it Christmas turkey hat!

6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Irreverent Swap on: April 12, 2012 01:56:08 PM
Would anyone be interested in something like this? A swap for the not easily offended  Wink

I'd love to get a Zoidberg Jesus, or a dirty hippy, or fsm craft, or an innapropriate children's character type thing. I think you could get a lot of funny stuff from this  Smiley

Any thoughts?

8  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / a stash swap idea on: January 22, 2012 05:55:45 PM
I realize that there are lots of them out there already!

Has there ever been one where you send your partner something from your own stash for them to create a crafted item for you? Maybe a ball of yarn you love the color of, but don't know what to make from.

Or maybe a "repoourpouse my stuff" swap. You could send your partner a shirt that you really like, but can't fit into anymore, and they make you something out of it?

Any thoughts?  Smiley
9  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / my awesone new craft table! on: January 09, 2012 09:11:55 PM
my husband just made me this craft table (with only a little help from me). We used this tutorial with some changes (some of his measurements are wrong, so if you make it be warned!). I need a good drafting chair, since we made it quite high and I still have to paint it. But that will have to wait until spring when I can open the windows for the fumes and not freeze!
