Just for the fun of conversation - if you could live in any location from a disney movie what would it be and why?

It was my dream since i was little-bitty to live in the ocean like Little Mermaid.

Here are the awesome things that lindyv321 and Landon sent Jakob.

Jakob is modeling his new bang necklace and three wonderfully done rubber looms as he holds up the art. I think he was most touched by the art because Landon put a lot of thought in it and he included all Jakob's interests: his new hamster, Herobrine, Take Back the Night- a Minecraft song, Spider-Man, Origami Yoda, Olaf, and weapons.

I tried to tell him that we couldn't really see the art but he was adamant that he wanted to share the front and back. He was very happy about the art.

Group shot:

There's a pom-pom covered J wall hanging, a duct tape Star Wars wallet, tile magnets of Pokemon, Finn, Jake, Herobrine, and Cake, a hoopla Death Star, and a Perler bead tic-tac-toe board.  I accidentally left them out of the picture but there was also a tiny bag of eye balls for making plush.

Here are some close up shots:

I am going to swipe your magnet idea. Did you use special markers or sharpies? The magnets are nice and flat better than the disks that I use but stronger than the magnet tape. What type did you use? I may have to get my boys to make some as Christmas gifts for family members.

Landon did a really wonderful job on the hoopla. I tried to talk Jakob out of it but he wants to start his own hoopla wall now. I also tried to get a better picture of the bracelets and necklace but Jakob did not want to take them off.

Jakob received his package from lindyv321 and Landon on Saturday. I'm in the process of posting the pictures now. Sorry for the delay. My dad got married yesterday and I had a Praxis to take this morning. Crazy weekend all around.

Jakob was so thrilled with everything!

I'm a little late, but here is your weekly question: what was the most difficult meal you had to convince your child to eat?

Jakob did not like rice but fortunately he does now. He hates barbecue sauce. He tends to eat and drink anything dad does, including V8 juice. He loves eating the same meals the adults are having. It makes him feel big which helps us make better choices too. His favorite food is zucchini bread.

Bailey has food sensitivities, primarily due to the texture of different foods. When he was little, we discovered that some textures made immediately sick. He had the worst reaction to yogurt with real fruit inside. He rarely eats meat unless it is breaded. He lives off mac n' cheese, grilled cheese, vitamins, peanut butter and jelly, and protein drinks. After a lesson at school about the food pyramid and reading Green Eggs and Ham, he became more aware that he needed to try more things. This week, we discovered that likes zucchini bread and sliced up apples. I may have to find more ways to put vegetables in bread and muffins.

Bailey received a package from Abby today.

The package included a decorated pillow case, foam rainbow thermometer magnet and a foam sun, a two-sided doorhanging- one side has penguins and the other had kitties, a penguin book, a penguin photo, a tiny rubber ducky, a little pillow for Fluffy's bed, a bunny postcard, a pink grow a bug, and a perler bead grid with a pattern.

Unfortunately, the painted plaster creation shattered, but I bet it was adorable.

Here is a picture of the pillow case. I would love to know more about how it was made.

Thank you again mom2em and Abby!

We're so glad she liked everything. The animals are plaster which she can paint if she wants. Yes, the dollhouse included perler bead furniture. Bailey picked the colors and followed the patterns from the perler bead website. I hot glued the pieces together. Bailey LOVED painting and designing the house. He even included a Fluffy portrait inside.

We had a great time! Smiley
