I received package 1 from Artmomto5 today.

Here is everything: an Art Card, Mickey figurine, watercolor notepad with paints, beautiful bright colored fabric with a needle and teal thread, tiny markers, a fabric card, teal and green cardstock, a family photo, and a road map to Alabama.

Here is the beautiful lampwork bead necklace she made which as you can see, matches my favorite top.

2  Beaker Cross Stitch in CHALLENGE 102 ENTRIES by Helena Puck on: September 04, 2014 01:01:49 PM

I made this Beaker hoopla for whitterp during our recent Disney Swap.

I based the design off an image I found on google which I imported into PCStitch, added the black cross stitch outline, and blended or simplified the color changes.

Beaker was stitched on a glittery gray evenweave aida, stitched over two squares. I think he's really cute. My son has already made a request for him and I might make one for my nephew.

4  Grandma's Rosary in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Helena Puck on: August 26, 2014 10:38:23 AM

I just finished making my grandma's rosary.

I spelled out all her children's names in the rosary beads which wasn't a small task getting all ten names in the five sections. I put two names in each section of the decades, no spaces. Small hematite balls were placed on each side of the letter and heart cube beads on the headpin. Extra chain was used to separate the five sections.

I know she is just going to love it. I'm happy with how it turned out. My husband said he's jealous and wants one with our kids' names. So do I!

5  Glitterblast cameo with a candy sprinkles resin Cabochon in CHALLENGE 101 ENTRIES by Helena Puck on: August 05, 2014 09:01:17 AM

For this challenge, I decided to use up the remaining resin from my EasyCast resin kit. Originally, I was disappointed with resin because my molds did not cure during the fall. I had to throw out my bangle mold but using a little fingernail polish remover, I was able to keep the oval, circular, rectangular, and heart shape molds.

Looking through my findings bins, I found some tarnished bezel I've been holding onto. I strayed a cameo bezel with red spray paint and red glitterblast.

For the cabochon, I used clear resin and candy sprinkles. I poured a small portion of resin into the oval mold, poured sprinkles and added more resin. Fortunately, it cured properly, and I was able to file down any access resin and fit it into the cameo. I used e-6000 glue to attach the cabochon onto the cameo.

I'm very happy with how it turned out. It is a little unusual for me but I look forward to wearing the chunky piece because you cannot go wrong with sprinkles and glitter.

Wow! Another great package. Love those minions and that Ninjago Ninja! Very impressive.

And Speaking of Impressive, check out this fully-jointed Herobrine Plushy! My son is in heaven which is really great because he's been pretty down all day. Yesterday, we had to bury his hamster, Crayon. Sad

And, Chris made a creative Minecraft Mug, a clay Batman, and elaborate Finn and Jake Perler Beads. As a bonus, we got Phineas and Ferb temporary tattoos. Sorry the picture is upside down. It wasn't before I uploaded it.

Chris and Jakob have similar clay styles. Batman has a really great home among the other clay critters. You might recognize Kirby and Prince Fluff Smiley

Thank you mom and Chris!!!

I wanted to say a special thank you to Afton who sent Bailey this amazing Neopet. This Neopet is the larger size of Bailey's beloved Fluffy that has been his special companion every where he goes. He found Fluffy at a thrift booth at a craft show. He loved it but we never knew what Fluffy was. Now we do!

As you can tell, he is absolutely thrilled!!!

Here are the awesome things that lindyv321 and Landon sent Jakob.

Jakob is modeling his new bang necklace and three wonderfully done rubber looms as he holds up the art. I think he was most touched by the art because Landon put a lot of thought in it and he included all Jakob's interests: his new hamster, Herobrine, Take Back the Night- a Minecraft song, Spider-Man, Origami Yoda, Olaf, and weapons.

I tried to tell him that we couldn't really see the art but he was adamant that he wanted to share the front and back. He was very happy about the art.

Group shot:

There's a pom-pom covered J wall hanging, a duct tape Star Wars wallet, tile magnets of Pokemon, Finn, Jake, Herobrine, and Cake, a hoopla Death Star, and a Perler bead tic-tac-toe board.  I accidentally left them out of the picture but there was also a tiny bag of eye balls for making plush.

Here are some close up shots:

I am going to swipe your magnet idea. Did you use special markers or sharpies? The magnets are nice and flat better than the disks that I use but stronger than the magnet tape. What type did you use? I may have to get my boys to make some as Christmas gifts for family members.

Landon did a really wonderful job on the hoopla. I tried to talk Jakob out of it but he wants to start his own hoopla wall now. I also tried to get a better picture of the bracelets and necklace but Jakob did not want to take them off.

Bailey received a package from Abby today.

The package included a decorated pillow case, foam rainbow thermometer magnet and a foam sun, a two-sided doorhanging- one side has penguins and the other had kitties, a penguin book, a penguin photo, a tiny rubber ducky, a little pillow for Fluffy's bed, a bunny postcard, a pink grow a bug, and a perler bead grid with a pattern.

Unfortunately, the painted plaster creation shattered, but I bet it was adorable.

Here is a picture of the pillow case. I would love to know more about how it was made.

Thank you again mom2em and Abby!
