So pretty and cozy! I admire anyone who can knit and for new skills you did an excellent job!

She is magnificent!  Is she made entirely of wood?  I want to hold her and get a better look!  Smiley

She is made of wood, primed with gesso and covered with assorted papers, then two coats of matte medium. Glad you all like her!
Odd was inspired by a DVD tut I took from Mary Jane Chadbourne a few weeks back. I don't think she does witches as I have never seen one, but since I made this one, I can't seem to stop making little witches.
Also a couple with bunny heads and one with my cats head.
Not the actual head.

I made this altered art doll for suereal for the "Be Awesome Redux" swap that racky and I organized.

I made templates for the wooden shapes and I learned how to use my husbands band saw, a drill press and a mega big sander.
I'll tell ya, power tools are pretty awesome.  Grin

Her face is from a drawing I did called 'Girl with a House'...I scanned it, put it in Illustrator and played with her face shape until
I got it to fit my wooden head I cut.
I made the tentacles from polymer clay and the little shopping bag is a jewelry box cut down to size.
(I took the bottom picture before I added the pumpkins and the micro beads)

It was a lot of fun and I'm in the process of making a few more!
