1  Re: Giant Multi-Theme Round 3 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by 7daytrial on: September 15, 2011 06:34:48 PM
Sorry, this is super picture heavy but it took me so long to post everything that I wanted to make sure I did the goodies justice!

group shot

2 necklaces. The pictures do not do these justice! 1 is the Loch Ness Monster, and the other is Bigfoot footprints!

cupcake accessory set!

cupcake barette

Awesome keychain

Monster plushie! Cheesy  My daughter snatched this out of my hands an ran with it. I had to wait until she wasn't looking to get a picture! Thank you soooo much for making it child safe-- she loves it!

Owl notebook

the most awesomely awesome hoop EVER!

Yeti tote!!!!

AMAZING tin! I can't pick a favorite thing, but I know that this would definitely be in my top 3 Cheesy

I also need to give a HUGE thanks to my partner, Xandrigirly for being so amazingly understanding. Since signing up, we had an unexpected move (in which everything I crafted got broken), a "surprise pregnancy!", a burglary (in which everything I crafted got stolen) a short hospital stay (where I freaked the eff out after the burglary) and general stupidity on my part (I kept forgetting to put everything in the box... and go to the PO...).

If it wasn't for her graciousness and the awesome understanding powers of pinkleo, I probably would have just broken down in tears. Instead, my super amazing partner will have her box(es) on MONDAY!!!!! I hope she likes her gifts as much as I like mine Cheesy

I made this for my daughter a while back and thought I'd share!

It took about 4 hours, start to finish (I had some trouble drawing the giraffe the way I wanted it)

3  WARNING: This will give you an image coma! in The Swap Gallery by 7daytrial on: June 27, 2011 12:39:40 PM
My partner and I went a little overboard, but neither of us were complaining!  This is one of the most fun things I have done and I am sooooo excited to send off her package!

There was a whole lotta love coming out of my box, so grab some tea and have a seat!

Awesome Gryffindor mug!

I love this SO hard! It's going in my craft room right above my sewing machine Cheesy

AMAZING! If you can't tell already, I'm in love with the Weasleys.

SNACKS!!!!! That tub of chocolate wands is HUGE and frankly, I can't wait to get nommin on that!

Awesome little owl named Orlando. The stitches are sooooo tiny. I am fascinated by amigurumi and cannot figure out how anyone is able to get a stitch that small and have it look so amazing. I've tried and my fingers are just too stupid.

PYGMY PUFFS!!!!

Headband with crochet flower in gryffindor colors. I LOVE it!

Lego necklace in gryffindor colors!

Chudley Cannons messenger bag. OMG. Amazing. It's huge!

Wesley Market Bag Cheesy I cannot WAIT to use this.

Adorable lined coin purse with red dino button

All together!

MizzKodak, Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! This totally made my month Cheesy

4  Re: Matchbox Swap round 5 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by 7daytrial on: May 05, 2011 12:36:06 PM
This arrived a while back but unfortunately I was not here to receive it Cheesy  I was in the middle of tornado cleanup in Central Arkansas and completely forgot about the swap until my husband called me to tell me that a package arrived. Thankfully, I have a very understanding partner and now that I've seen what she sent me... well... she is amazing and I hope she isn't disappointed by what I made her!

Anyway, onto the photos!

this is a picture of the handmade box along with the extras that didn't fit inside. The beads! I LOVE THE BEADS! There is a little bead that looks like corn and I have JUST the project for it!

This is a closeup of the amazingly drawn cover. I am completely in love!

The insides!!! I have no idea how she got all of that to fit! There are 3 twilight guitar picks, a handmade pendant (underneath the skillet, next to the flowers) a wire ring, a stag charm, a strawberry patch, clothespin, cute little skillet, and shiny sequinesque flowers.

Thank you, Strawberryh!!!

6  Scene Wreath *UPDATED* in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by 7daytrial on: November 24, 2010 09:28:00 PM
My friend and I just started making fabric wreaths and I'm looking for a little feedback.
This is our first completed embellished wreath and it's targeted for an emo/scene kid.

If you like it, let me know. If you hate it, let me know what you hate. If you are indifferent then just say hi!

*UPDATE*

Thanks for the feedback, I made a few changes and want to see what you think.

7  I was bored in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by 7daytrial on: May 11, 2010 11:58:20 AM
I can't decide if I'm done with it or not... it seems unbalanced. Maybe I should collage the table part as well?

8  I don't feel like it's crafty, but I sure am proud of it! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by 7daytrial on: January 09, 2010 05:00:10 AM
My husband is in the Air Force and we move quite a bit. I don't like to spend a lot of money on furniture since it gets damaged when we move, so I found this awesome dresser at The Salvation Army to use as our TV stand. Well, our previous apartment didn't have great lighting. We thought the dresser looked amazing and we were always happy with it.

Then we moved.

We saw the dresser for what it truly is and I decided that I just could not live another moment with that ugly thing stinking up my living room.

Before:

Step 1: Sanding

Tip: Try not to smoke and sand at the same time. It won't really hurt any thing, but you might drop your cigarette.

Here's a closeup of the door. There were some weird, hard spots that looked like paste. I had to sand those off and it didn't occur to me to take pictures before sanding them off.

Step 2:  ......

Step 3: FINISHED!

I hope you guys like this as much as I do.
