1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Craft Swaps / Re: Quickie Stocking Stuffer Swap - sign up by 11/29/14 (!) send by 12/12 - UPDATED on: November 25, 2014 04:16:29 PM
I have finished crafting two and a half items for package number one.  I want to get a few little extras.  Two of the crafted items were finished today...I had a vacation day from work.  I'll be starting on the last half of the third item tomorrow.

gaudiknight...I'm in the same boat...don't know what to do with myself when I'm not involved in a swap!

cabaute, I'm so glad you started this swap!  I've already finished one item, and half of another.  I promise not to go crazy, I just have in my head this set of items that I want to send, and without all the "parts" of it, it won't be complete.

(MODS:  If I'm not allowed to put this in a post, I apologize and please delete it.)

I live in NY.  Are there any parents here whose child has a 504 plan for school?  If so, and you would feel comfortable PMing with me about it, please PM me.  Thanks!

I'm on board and already know what I want to make, so I'll be starting today, despite my earlier question about waiting for partners.  Cheesy

Darn, if I don't know that I AM a pain in the butt!  I have another question:

If anyone has any other ideas for the "gift package", could they post them?
7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Will a Spirit Doll find you? on: November 23, 2014 05:45:14 PM
I admire your ability to make so many different kinds of spirit dolls, and how beautifully they are made!

I joined the spirit doll swap a few months ago, and I found it REALLY difficult to create the doll, and I am thinking that my partner got the short end of the stick in that swap.  Tongue

Ok....there are just so many great things about this swap that I HAD to join!   Cheesy

I just have three questions:

-Can we wait to get our partner before we start to craft, if we are positive that we can put together the package in time for sendouts?

-I understand that this swap is for ONE SMALL CRAFTED ITEM.  Am I correct in thinking that that one small crafted item is supposed to be part of a small group of things that we will send to our partner?

-Are we allowed to spoil within reasonable limits for this swap?
9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Ruffle scarf & stash! on: November 21, 2014 08:06:56 PM
Thanks!  Kiss

And shhhhh....don't tell anyone, but I went to another Joann's near me and picked up another bag of that kind of yarn that was only 97 cents there too... Tongue

Nobody needs that many scarves, but I just can't help myself!  Roll Eyes

(BTW...the meds are working, thanks for your well wishes!)
