I liked the idea of a wind chime using the strike plates & keys

Maybe the knobs can be mounted on a sturdy climbing wall for some climbing fun

The rest of the knob "guts", take to a metal recycler for some ca$hola! Have fun Smiley

how about a little nail polish remover? It's a lacquer thinner
The only thing, it may alter the cement's bonding abilities

If you've ever seen the movie "Dinner for Schmucks" the character makes these dioramas with mice - they are so playful


Now I'm not saying use dead mice, but you can have a stuffed animal(s) or poseable miniature doll(s) that you can create little themed scenes that change, maybe each month. When people come to visit, it could be a conversation piece

I was trying to see what types of crafts you like to do - If you sew, you can cut them into squares for making a simple quilt and sew them raw edges out, snip the edges, and wash & dry with a tennis ball. the raw edges should fray and look like this:
