A friend of mine makes flashlights from them. He buys a durable flashlight, takes the components and uses them to make the new flashlight. Mind you, there's some cutting & drilling involved. Pretty cool, I must say....

LOVE DRYER LINT! - haha - you can use it mixed with flour & water and some torn up paper all in a blender to make a type of paper mache you can mould into all kinds of stuff like a bowl, just use a bowl as a form to lay it on. let it dry for a couple of days.

Or how about homemade paper?

When I was in scouts, We made fire starters with them: put some lint in each "cup" of an egg carton, we melted our broken crayons in an old soup can and poured it into each cup. Let it dry, and break off each cup individually as a fire starter...it worked good too!

Have fun & post your project pics

my computer is acting funny - I'll post my question tomorrow with a pic!

The CD envelopes I have, have a window in them. I think it would be cool to  hot glue them or thumbtack them all edge to edge on a piece of cardboard or cork-type bulletin board with the windows facing out. Then you can tuck fun pics into each pouch or if you're a real keener, cut out silhouettes using black paper and tuck them into each one and still mount them for a vignette effect.

Cheers! ...Don't forget to post what you ended up doing
