3  Craft Swaps / ACTIVE SWAPS WHERE SIGN-UP PERIOD HAS CLOSED / Re: Embroidery Hoopla Rnd 12 - SEASONS Sign-up Sept 10-17 or earlier if full on: September 12, 2014 12:15:52 PM
yay birthdays without the internet! Really don't know what to say here...

I just made a winter themed sock monkey and now I want to join this swap but I still can't find ActsofCraftiness' 1/2 hoop stitching so Sad
4  Craft Swaps / ACTIVE SWAPS WHERE SIGN-UP PERIOD HAS CLOSED / Re: Half-a-Hoopla Swap (SIGNUP CLOSED; 2ND ROUND MAIL BY 9/12) on: September 12, 2014 09:22:34 AM
Yay! I get a couple days grace! I know what I want to stitch and I could have had it done by today (thought prob not sent out with the weather) but it is still missing. It must have grown legs. Your tree, Ao'C, it turns out it was an Ent. It's probably right in front of me right now but I've been missing seeing things like this so my husband needs to get off his butt and help me look for it. He is the finder in this house.

The punkins thing is awesome. I think did something similar a couple years ago and wore my husband out on punkin.

I'm trying this recipe http://www.somethingswanky.com/peanut-butter-butterscotch-fudge/ (I found via Pinterest) right now. It was a "Hey, let's check our Pinterest, Ooh, that looks good let's make it RIGHT NOW" kind of moment. We had a whole box of butterscotch from a dumb whore ex friend that I've been wanting to get rid of for a while now. This took 2 bags! Weee! Now I'm down to 3 bags and I think I don't have to worry about it anymore. 3 bags is not too much to have on hand, right? Well, the fudge, after licking spoon after I put the pan in the fridge to cool for the night, seems pretty good! I'm glad I found that recipe. Super quick and easy.
6  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Uh... Stone Cubes? on: September 10, 2014 01:19:19 PM
Being a gamer, I like the dice idea. If you're not a gamer, I say sex dice. Everyone's a sex-gamer, right?

signs ups for a week, I will be a fence sitter. You know this means I won't actually join but I will talk to you guys until after sign ups! I still need to finish my 1/2 a hoopla for ActsOfCraftiness, it's due out in 2 days! How about if I finish that on time I will sign up for this one, eh?
8  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Stitchalongs / Re: Big Project Stitch Along 2014 on: September 07, 2014 06:48:03 PM
This is what I have so far on my dragon! Well, I am working on the antique very light blue now but I'm working by color.

Photo taken in the parking lot of a DQ on our road trip. So little time to stitch now that we're not road tripping!
9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Crocheted Cotton Rag Rug with Pattern - inspired by Olino Hobby Rugs on: September 07, 2014 09:24:32 AM
Great! The way the shirts are different colors than the yarn really makes it much more interesting. Crocheting OVER the tshirts is a great idea! You did a fabulous job and I agree that it looks very comfy indeed.

This is pretty amazing. How random, but awesome. Your dad is pretty great, and he seems to be passing it on to you too!
