So excited! I love teasers. Way to whet me, cowtown.

That brave hoop looks great! I agree, the border is very well done. All of it chain stitched?

Well in that case I'm glad I posted first so I wouldn't feel like I was trying to copy the infamous Lindy. I wanted my colors a little more muted.
August Bell, that looks great! I don't know the reference but it's still funny.
I know I've already earned my entry into this month's giveaway and I'm not aiming for more "entries", but I'm not really making my own posts for a while so I thought I would share these here. I loved stitching letters so much I made these 4 hoops, 3 for the ladies I visit teach at church and the top one for me.

Pattern here, I just left off the year.

Holy crap, that looks all mill spun and stuff. Pretty amazing.

I haven't been spinning lately. Sad, but other priorities you know?

Thanks everyone! I enjoyed stitching those letters so much that last night after I posted it I started some more lettered hoops. Have 1 1/2 done done of 4!

Mine went to the sweet side also. I realized today that if I stitch while henpecking my son to do his homework then the henpecking is less violence-threatening.

Pattern and explanation of the Mother T quote here.
Still don't know if I will keep it in the hoop or make like a mini quilt with it.

I totally agree, some very epic ninnis in this month. Mine feel kind of bland compared to most of the others, but I felt they were what cowtown needed. I'm glad you're happy with them, Laurel.

This is definitely a place to go when you want to get back into stitching! This group here is pretty great at nudging each other along.

And on that note: I started stitching today! I wasn't planning on joining this month but my dear male counterpart has yet to finish his part of my mom's quilt (being the frame stand) so I have a little crafty time to spare. And usually when I go through my Pinterest Stitchery board nothing jumps out at me but some did today so away we go!

I send out today! As soon as the boy finishes his school. I guess I should start that first, eh?
