1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: How do I sew this circle in this hole? on: March 14, 2014 06:33:00 PM
My thoughts would be... cut the yellow circle a half inch bigger than the red and cut a circle of fusible web the same size as yellow circle. Sew them together with 1/4 inch seam with the fusible side to the right side of your fabric. Then cut an X in the fusible web, flip inside out and then you can cut the fusible web a 1/4 inch to that seam and iron over red hole. then you could do a blanket stitch to cover the seams on the reversible. The fusible webbing ironed in place will keep the red from stretching. Good luck!
2  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: Disney Frozen Elsa Dress on: March 14, 2014 06:14:05 PM
The easiest thing that I do is get a dress she has that fits her really good and turn it inside out and make my pattern from there. You could add longer sleeves or length in the dress. I've wanted to make one for my 2 year old too! The ones he sell a Walmart don't resemble the one she wears in the movie that much. Good luck!

They also sell those flowers by the yard in the trimming/ribbon section at hobby lobby and other craft stores.

I have been so out of it lately! I apologize for not posting this sooner but.... I got an awesome package from dessadoll too! She sent me a "can of dates" which I looooove!! That was one of the first things I think I ever pinned! I love the sunflowers and jute you used dessadoll. It's so my style. And I love the date ideas you added in there. Very cute and creative  Smiley

And she also sent me an adorable scrappy fabric tutu! It is fabulous! I love the fabrics you chose. Soooo freaking cute! I will post some good pictures tomorrow of my girl in it.

I was just looking through my pinterest boards and saw this pillow with the stitching "I never finish anyth" and I'm thinking, I would love that in my craft room maybe as wall art though and not a pillow and I'm thinking about what I would make it look like then I look at what everyone has claimed for this swap and lo and behold! Dessadoll you read my mind! How funny! I can't wait to see what you make happylittleclam!  Grin
