I just got my belongings out of storage after TWO YEARS without them, and I found my half-finished altered puzzle. I may have to join up!

Thank you, everyone!

PeaceBlessingsandJoy, I posted a tutorial a few months back for how I did the stacked necklaces.

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Blank Book Necklaces on: March 27, 2012 08:16:37 AM
These little blank book necklaces are constructed from recycled leather and recycled books.
Red:

They're blank. I'm not sure how they would hold up if you tried to write in them, but they look cute!

Blue:

Thanks for looking!

I love making earrings. They are so versatile and such a fun way to accessorize.
I love the clustered look lately.

I'm quickly learning how difficult it is to take pictures of sparkly things, but I gave it my best effort with these.

I love green, and I think the different shades in these earrings make them something special.

I made these simple teardrop earrings recently too.

I think they would be perfectly with a little sundress for spring or summer.
8  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Polymer clay dachshund on: February 19, 2012 05:14:00 PM
How great! He looks like my little Satchmo. I think you did an awesome job!
9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / "Button" Earrings! on: February 14, 2012 08:55:15 AM
I wish I had thought of this! Disney from the blog Ruffles and Stuff suggested cutting the shanks off a pretty pair of buttons and making them into earrings. I glued mine to posts for some glamorous retro-looking earrings. I love these things! And since they're plastic buttons, they're super light!

You could also make these danglies by attaching something to the back and then attaching an ear wire.
10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / More Mini Book Necklaces on: February 14, 2012 08:52:37 AM
I've been making some more book jewelry. These are a little neater than my original book stack necklace.

I love these colors together.

The single book is actually made with blank pages, and opens up so it can be written in!
