1  Craft Swaps / ACTIVE SWAPS WHERE SIGN-UP PERIOD HAS CLOSED / Re: I miss that SOOOOO much!!! Swap (SU Oct 19-Nov1;SO Nov 30) on: Today at 07:16:01 AM
Aw, hope the knee gets better soon. Crafting time is at least a plus, for me *cough* but hopefully for you too Wink
Something nice happened yesterday: Kiddo who is clumsy accidently swooped my swap crafts down to the floor. Usually, he gets grumpy when I tell him to pick stuff up again but yesterday, I just had to say "oh noooo, that's for the swap!" and he DASHED to pick up every bit without me even asking, and he was truly sorry, because SWAP. Wink Wink
So glad to be in this swap with you guys, because the whole family loves swaps so much! Wink

Sick with sick kids here too, it's just the season for it I guess... hopping up and down from the mention of Dennou Coil Cheesy
Crafting went well so far because I've been cheating Wink I cleaned out some older WIP boxes and found the perfect thing to finish and include, straight from Isi's wishlist Wink The question now I probably just how many matching little thingies I can make to go with it. Wink

Oh yeah!  If I remember correctly, Ruby Copperhead lives on Mars....I mail to Mars all the time Grin...but it can be expensive so think flat and envelope sized Grin

Mars is any place that is more than 6 hours time zone different from me.  Which also means Ruby Copperhead lives in the future Grin

BUAHAHHAHA Dr. Who would be so pleased with this thinking  Cool  Grin It's so appropriately quirky!

It's also true, I do live in the future of you (most of you, I guess) Grin Grin Sadly not close enough to hop onto Mars though Wink

Don't worry about envelope size please, it's a small swap, I'll be happy about my item(s) no matter the size! Everything's fine!

Smeddley, I'm pretty certain everyone will just go "... isn't this so awesome because did I tell you how much I love this series/books/anything". Someone making stuff for one's favourite thing just is awesome in itsself, so I'm sure every item in our gallery will be loved by their recipient!

Aw, looks like everyone has made great lists!

Ah yes, books... so many I could have put on the list... I put in some, too. The Animorphs, and Discworld. Yeaaah, it's technically still ongoing but I already dread the day it won't be and I miss it already! And Skulduggery Pleasant - I have no idea if there will be any more books coming up, I guess there could be prequels of sorts, no idea, I still included it Wink
I guess I'll be mostly useless for my partner's book wishes as I haven't read any book that has been mentioned in this thread Wink Never even heard of Serendipity or any of the others, sorry Wink but I guess pointing me to some fanart that already exists could help with getting crafting inspirations easily.

Signed up! Couldn't not do this one!
And man, do I have a long list and it could easily be so much longer Wink Wink
I didn't even put on things I haven't been watching or reading in a LONG while, just the rather recent ones. Ha, lies! I put Deep Space 9 on my list, and I haven't watched that in a while. It just doesn't feel like it I guess Wink
6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Granny Square shirt on: July 22, 2014 07:53:48 AM
This looks great! Seen big granny dresses before, but the shirt looks better! I think I want one! Great job and thanks for the inspiration.
Hehe, if you want cold and wet weather in Germany, just wait a few months, and you won't be disappointed Wink

How cuuute!
8  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Finish My UFO Discussion and Swap Gallery on: May 16, 2014 06:08:41 AM
The chain style sounds good. I'm sad to see people not queuing up for the swap, because I think it's an awesome idea! I'm not entirely confident I could finish somone else's UFO in time as I'm super slow crafting these days, but hm, seeing what others have that needs something done might help with getting an idea of what is required in the first place.
9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: Sailor Moon Craftalong 2014 on: April 08, 2014 07:27:01 AM
Yay, the first challenge is on!
Seems like I'll have to take on some of my UFOs Wink or adding some new ones to the pile? Hm, maybe I should start with something small...
Definitely going to work on this challenge for more than a month because it has so many of my favourite characters in it!

Erin, great job on the hair and on the dynamic stance, and the use of Venus' sword for the sword of Justitia blew my mind!

Welcome Audania! Sailor Moon definitely made me do a lot of senshi sketches too Wink and look who's still doing Sailor Moon crafts now  Grin

Thanks!
Hm, suggestion for the  baddies: proceed along the story, that is, start with the Dark Kingdom, and then do the Doom Tree etc?
And for the goodies, you could pick them in the order they appear too. Or in the groups they appear. Inners, Outers, Asteroids, Starlights.
Or maybe tie it to the seasons? Have a goodie and baddie craft for every season?
I also liked the full moon/new moon suggestion from Erin. I can see myself "And this is the full moon craft from three moons ago, finally finished." Wink but it's a good use of the White Moon vs Black Moon theme.
