The pushmi pullyu is my favorite Dr. Doolittle animal so I really love that sign. If that's painted on there that's some good work.

OMG! I love the conjoined mice. That was definitely worth waiting for. And they've got garters and flowers in their hair, and they're even on the card! Awesome!

This swap was really chock full of amazing crafts. As much fun to browse the gallery as it was to craft for.

What an amazing hoopla Bow and Sparrow. So much cool detail, and even the curtains for the show, wow!

I really love the idea of using the fabric for the tattoos on the doll, Smeddley. The ring master hat is great, and looks good on MsZombieElvis. I don't know how you managed such an awesome package after all you've been through. The ducks and buttons are cute too.

Beautiful, and so meaningful. Great work.

They're both so cute! I like the eyes on the little snake, and all those stitches, oh my. The tarantula is pretty fierce too.

I really love this one. It came out so good. I know your partner has to be thrilled.

Turkey stitch is a new term to me. I'll have to look it up.

Oh, Squidget, I love that altered tin. I can't believe you've never done that before. Such excellent work. The collage with the tiger head looks so good, and I love the clown stamp. Now I'm wondering if I stamp on a piece of aida if I could cross stitch over it. Smiley

The conjoined twins necklace is great, hannabear, but my fave is the elephant pin. I love the whole look of it and the little feather embellishment.

That doll is a hoot, petskin. So awesome to work the entire sideshow into the one doll, and the red hair is the perfect touch.

MzZombieElvis, you did an amazing job with the carnival game with the ducks. The aerial act necklace is to die for, and the goldfish is such a cute idea. A flea circus! *wild applause* That rocks.

I've been so anxious to see what moriarT cooked up and that bear does not disappoint. I can only sit with my jaw on the floor in admiration for this one. Some of your best work.

I really like that Night Circus journal page, squiget. It's a good representation of the description at the first of the book. The sideshow card is very nice too.

That collage is really cool, stitchzBstitchz. I like the vintage look of everything, and I really like the quote.

I received the most wonderful package from emilywilde today. It's hard to hit all the favorites of someone when you have a list to work from, but she managed to do it.

First is a trapeze girl doll:

I absolutely love trapeze and she captured the litheness and elegance of the trapeze acrobats. The doll is made from cotton thread, such tiny, intricate stitches. She even has ears. I'm in awe! Her skirt is an antique hanky and her top is made of ribbon. She came with a hanger but I can't seem to get the "hang" of it. (See what I did there?  Grin)

Then I got a shadow box with my other circus favorites:

It says, "Life is a Circus" (so true). It has animal acts (a tiger and trained seal), the cutest tiny little knitted elephant (again, I can't believe the stitching craftsmanship), a fortune teller, a fortune, a strong man, a trapeze artist, an admission ticket, and a tiny little bear. This all brings back such fond memories of the circus. I couldn't be happier.

Thanks so much, Emily. You're an awesome swap partner!

Thanks everyone. I loved crafting for this swap. I found the pattern for the doll and gypsy scarf by doing a Google search and I used part of a circus tent pattern for the cross stitch.

You're very welcome Emily. I'm so relieved everything made it all right, and on time too. Thank you USPS!

I'm thrilled that you like everything. I know you said you love crochet so I put the emphasis on that. I wish my Amigurumi skills were better. I've never worked with the safety eyes but since the twins are in the freakshow the little imperfections add to the effect (I hope). I'm really pleased you like the quote too. I'm going to finish that book asap.

I'm supposed to get my package from you tomorrow. I'm beyond excited!
