I received th BEST birthday ATC ever! You ROCK my world rockingbearranch!

Behold the birthday bonanza:

There was an amazing mixed media card (the text reads: "A little bird told me it's your birthday... please don't tell anyone I talk to birds") It has a special place on the shelf over my crafting space! I love it!
And then a movable, openable Cake ATC. Perfect! Very sweet.
There were plenty of cool extras, and awesome circus stamps that got plenty of ooooh's and aaaah's around here Smiley

Thanks a million, you're the best!  Kiss Kiss Kiss

I love the original Grimm stories - so different from the Disney-fied versions!

Here are the last two cards I received in June - Love them both!

A Tree Squeek from blupaisan - I got my own wooden card Smiley

Real bark and real whiskers make this a ooak card. Thanks , blu!

Second card is fantastic. It's completely flat, but has so many layers to it:

It's from Senator Organa for my "mysterious women" theme. She said it's not really what she wanted to make so she might just have to claim me a second time for it. I'd be more than happy about that! Smiley

Thanks for a lovely month, everybody!

Check out some of the amazing work done in the June swap!
We have art by Oath Keeper, Kosmicgirl, CDEeeek, Senator Organa and vincentvanbuck

Put the swap up for tomorrow - don't forget to join Smiley

Since I'm on holiday a few weeks end of July, vincentvanbuck has been kind enough to co-org with me this month. He will take over mid-July until I return. Hopefully I'll be able to come online and forward messages to him if anyone forgets to send the information his way. If there are a few hold ups or snatches along the way, I hope you'll all forgive us!

*Have you read the entire swap information for this swap?:
*When sending sent/receive notifications to the swap organizer, there are four juicy pieces of information that must be included about each ATC.  What are they?
(Scroll down in the swap info under this questionnaire to the area "Once you have sent or received a card"; the answer is in red.):

*Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join this swap!  Sign-ups are open all month--YAY!  PM me the above questionnaire to get started, and please wait to be accepted into the swap before making any claims. **Please make sure you are not late or flakey in any of your other swaps, and that you have good communication.** This is a super-uber-amazingly-stupendous swap, So Have Fun!

Claims are made throughout the month.  You have two weeks from the time you make a claim to send that claim.

You can make as many (or as few, as little as 1) claims as you want throughout the month as long as you never go over your allowed amount of outstanding claims. (An outstanding claim is a card that has not been received; when that card is received your number of outstanding claims goes down leaving you open to bring it back up to 7 or 10.)

Posting pictures of received ATCs is required for this swap.

1. Claims are made using the following procedure:

Person A (the swap organizer) will begin the swap by posting a list of themes in this swap thread.
Person B will choose a theme from one of A's themes and make a claim by posting his/her own list (see below for formatting of post).
Person C will make a claim on one of B's themes and post his/her own list.
Person D will make a claim on one of C's themes and post his/her own list etc...
This continues through the end of the month.

2. How many claims can be made by each individual:

The number of claims each person is allowed depends on the following criteria:
*Friends of Craftster: 10 claims
*Those who aren't Friends of Craftster: 7 claims
*First time swappers (whether Friends of Craftster or not): 1 claim.  Once the initial claim has been sent, and its new owner has reported it received, the first time swapper is free to make more claims, either 7 or 10 dependent on being an FOC or not.

3. How to make a claim:

A claim post should include the following information:
1. The theme you are choosing and who youre sending it to.
2. Statistical info about your current swap claims status:
Claims = Claims currently outstanding (ie., the number of cards not yet received by their new owners.) (This number goes down each time a claim is received, and up each time you make a claim.)
Sent = anything currently in the mail.
Received = the cards received by the people to whom you've sent them.
3. Your location.
4. Your personal preferences.
5. Your list of themes

I claim GenericFabulosaSwap per for heffalumps/weasels ATC.

3 claims, 2 sent, 1 received

I live in Massachusetts, USA.  I would prefer not to receive anything violent, political, or religious.

My themes are:
1)   New Years Baby
2)   Resolutions
3)   Food w/ Faces
4)   Inspiring Quotes
5)   Your Favorite Medium

1. Send a personal message to the person you have claimed and request their address.
2. You have 2 weeks to complete each card, and have it in the mail to its new owner.

1. Please PM the organizer when you send or receive a card.
(It's also good form to notify the person you received from or are sending to.)
2.  Please include one of these at the title of the message: May ATC Swap--Sent or May ATC Swap--Received
Be sure to include the month!
3.Be sure and include the following in each pm to the organizer:
  • (1)"send by" date
  • (2)theme
  • (3)sender
  • (4)receiver

For example, you could use this format:
I sent some ATCs today!

MeCraftsterMemberBl oop --> YowzaSwapper (fantasmic theme)

MeCraftsterMemberBl oop --> WowwieSwapsper (stupendous theme)
MeCraftsterMemberBl oop -->WooHooYeeHawSwapper (yet another fascinating theme)

This lets the organizer easily access the swap info, so it can be updated.

It is OH so important to post pictures of the amazing cards you receive!  This is the best way in the world to let it be known how special it is that you've received a wonderful treasure of someone else's creativity!

Please post pictures/scans of your received cards in the swap (or make arrangements with your partner to do so).

Positive feedback will be given when all of the cards you sent have been received.   Good communication is always cool!  And be sure and post those pictures in the swap!

If you have any questions please post them in the discussion thread or PM the organizer, kosmicgirl.  This thread is specifically for claims only.

I'm going away on holiday for a few weeks end of July, and I don't know what kind of internet access I will have. Vincentvanbuck has agreed to coorganize the swap with me, taking over  in Mid-July until I return.

Great stuff! I love the alphabet cards - just right for kids Smiley

Here's a cool steampunk teddy I received earlier this week from Amaranth. It's so cool - only after taking the photo did I realize it's slightly sparkly Smiley

He looks so mean and annoyed. Fits me perfect atm. Wink I'm having the mother of a month, and I'm sorry for not being around too much. Sadly it looks like it won't calm down around here until mid-July... Sad

Thanks everybody Smiley

I made the unicorn out of wire and air drying clay. Big no-no, since it dried faster than I could form it! lol It was a hassle, but it turned out ok after a thousand layers of paint. I tried making him magical... but somehow he looks more like a work horse or a donkeyhorn as hubby called him.. *^_^*
It was the first time doing sculpting on a wire frame for me, and I learned a lot. Will definately have to experiment more!

The bear hug cards I made with an adorable stamp I picked up in the UK this spring Smiley

I received a cute Matroschka card from vincentvanbuck for my Ghibli theme:

First it's Kaonashi, opening up to the cutest Calcifer I ever saw. Under him there's a mini totoro, and at last a mini soot spirit Smiley

I love it, thanks a million! Smiley

This is the card I sent pioneer9 on her bicycle theme:

It looks really reflecting in this picture, but all I did was powder the stamped bike with a little bit of mica. Smiley
