I have been so busy around here, but I finally have time to post pictures of ALL the lovely cards I have received this month:

Sammylouise claimed me for Steampunk, and made me this wonderful papercut gear card.
I love the papers and colours you picked, they work wonderfully together!

Amaranth claimed me for a mysterious woman. The card is also with cut outs and glittery accents. I love her eyes!

And, finally, Ruby Slippers claimed me twice for mysterious women as well, and made these two wonderful stippled companion cards.
I love this technique, and the result is stunning!

Thanks everyone!

(Scroll down in the swap info under this questionnaire to the area "Once you have sent or received a card"; the answer is in red.):

*Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join this swap!  Sign-ups are open all month--YAY!  PM me the above questionnaire to get started, and please wait to be accepted into the swap before making any claims. **Please make sure you are not late or flakey in any of your other swaps, and that you have good communication.** This is a super-uber-amazingly-stupendous swap, So Have Fun!

HOW THIS SWAP WORKS:

Claims are made throughout the month.  You have two weeks from the time you make a claim to send that claim.

You can make as many (or as few, as little as 1) claims as you want throughout the month as long as you never go over your allowed amount of outstanding claims. (An outstanding claim is a card that has not been received; when that card is received your number of outstanding claims goes down leaving you open to bring it back up to 7 or 10.)

Posting pictures of received ATCs is required for this swap.

CLAIMING

1. Claims are made using the following procedure:

Person A (the swap organizer) will begin the swap by posting a list of themes in this swap thread.
Person B will choose a theme from one of A's themes and make a claim by posting his/her own list (see below for formatting of post).
Person C will make a claim on one of B's themes and post his/her own list.
Person D will make a claim on one of C's themes and post his/her own list etc...
This continues through the end of the month.

2. How many claims can be made by each individual:

The number of claims each person is allowed depends on the following criteria:
*Friends of Craftster: 10 claims
*Those who aren't Friends of Craftster: 7 claims
*First time swappers (whether Friends of Craftster or not): 1 claim.  Once the initial claim has been sent, and its new owner has reported it received, the first time swapper is free to make more claims, either 7 or 10 dependent on being an FOC or not.

3. How to make a claim:

A claim post should include the following information:
1. The theme you are choosing and who youre sending it to.
2. Statistical info about your current swap claims status:
Claims = Claims currently outstanding (ie., the number of cards not yet received by their new owners.) (This number goes down each time a claim is received, and up each time you make a claim.)
Sent = anything currently in the mail.
Received = the cards received by the people to whom you've sent them.
3. Your location.
4. Your personal preferences.
5. Your list of themes

Finally had time to update the thread... whew! You guys have been busy Smiley

I'm sorry the updates are so rare lately... we had to renovate our workspace rather unexpectedly since all our fancy shelves decided to fall down tearing wallpaper and large chunks of wall down with them, and right now, large parts of our apartment feel something like this:

(not my actual room - mine looks even worse!)

I will have even less time the upcoming months, and have been thinking of handing over the torch in October. I'll host September's swap, but someone will have to take over after that. We'll be traveling again almost the whole month, and I don't think I'll be able to keep up. If anyone feels like stepping up, just send me a pm!

I got home from a longer trip yesterday, and found a lovely package from dfabbric waiting for me. It needed almost 2 months to get here! I was getting worried before I left, but in the end, all turned out well.

And what a package, indeed. Dfabbric spoiled me with embroidery. I got the cutest hoopla (my first!!) with an adorable little pine cone boy. He's so adorable. I'll start a mini hoopla wall just for him Cheesy
And I also got a darling machine embroidered pillow case that says "gnome sweet gnome" and a sweet little stuffed fox. Add a few chocolate bars to round of a wonderful package.

Close up of the pillowcase:

Thanks dfabbric, I love it all Cheesy

There was an amazing mixed media card (the text reads: "A little bird told me it's your birthday... please don't tell anyone I talk to birds") It has a special place on the shelf over my crafting space! I love it!
And then a movable, openable Cake ATC. Perfect! Very sweet.
There were plenty of cool extras, and awesome circus stamps that got plenty of ooooh's and aaaah's around here Smiley
