I received a generous supply package from scarlet_nights. I love buttons...really.love.buttons. LOL

So she sent me a lot of great vintage buttons and a selection of interesting fabrics which will be great in doll/dotee making.

Thanks for claiming me!!!

Love the dotee!

I received from The Raging Sloth today. I had a list of items probably kind of difficult, or at least I thought they might be. One of the items I had was stuffed shells. I am in love with what she sent.

Isn't it wonderful? I cannot believe how accurately she made stuffed shells lol! Thank you so much swap partner.

3  Inchies, Rinchies, and Notecards... Oh My! in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by DearBluebird on: August 28, 2015 08:40:38 AM
I have been making myself a lot of inchies, rinchies, and twinchies lately. Tons of fun has been had as I've turned those little works of art into useful projects. Wall art, notecards, etc., are now stacked up in my craft room. Here are a few pics of some of the cool notecards I have made.

Some of the designs are rather simple, but I think they are lovely in their simplicity. I like to keep the insides of my notecards blank because I feel like handwriting your sentiments is really special for the recipient.

Enjoy!

4  Gelli-printed Goodies in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by DearBluebird on: August 28, 2015 08:28:10 AM
In the O.W.S. swap round 117 I received a 6x6 gelli plate from the very generous Rscowtown. I was thrilled beyond words as I had been desperately wanting to try out what I knew would be my next craft addiction. (I can't say enough how generous Laurel was in this swap claim!)

I wanted to post a few pics to show what I did with the first few sheets that I made on my new plate. I decided to use some of the papers to make some notecards. The envelopes also have the papers used for decoration. They are pretty simple but I like them a lot. I hope you enjoy them! Thanks for looking.

I received a few days ago from Rscowtown this wonderful book.

I have been learning the last few years how to can/preserve but I hadn't invested in any books. Thanks again Laurel for all you sent. You were wonderfully thoughtful and generous. I can't wait to get started with this new recipe book.

Prayers going up for those that need them. Hugs!!

Averia, I hope you like them and can use them.

Rscowtown, thanks so much for the generous package. I am so excited about what you sent. Tomorrow is my birthday so it's like an early birthday present. Smiley

7  Re: I Love Musicals Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by DearBluebird on: August 17, 2015 11:26:08 AM
Sorry I didn't get these uploaded last night.

Here is my package from Spikefan. I am a huge fan of Little Shop of Horrors. She made my favorite character, Dr. Orin Scrivello. Isn't he too cute? She also sent a very well done little shop of horrors cross stitch.

I love them both. Thank you so much for swapping with me, Spikefan.

8  Chicago Themed Dotee Doll in CHALLENGE 109 ENTRIES by DearBluebird on: August 13, 2015 02:35:12 PM
Back in May I created this Chicago musical themed dotee doll for my wonderful swap partner, Smmarrt. The swap was the Monthly Dotee Swap - May 2015 - Music. I would like to thank Smmarrt for allowing me to use her photos. Link to the original swap thread:

9  Bee Embroidery in Needlework: Completed Projects by DearBluebird on: August 03, 2015 05:49:08 PM
Here is an embroidered wall-hanging I recently made for a swap. It is already in a new home.

I combined two large embroidered bees with a smaller image of a beehive and some honeycomb shapes.

I received from Ludi a few days ago. Apologies I am just now loading pics (the past few days have been TERRIBLE with an a/c and heat pump installation that went awfully.)

I want to thank Ludi. This is one of the best things I have ever received from a Craftster swap, and that's saying something because I have received wonderful stuff.  It is the Audrey 2 from one of my favorite movies, Little Shop of Horrors.

It is beautifully made. I LOVE it.
