After finishing the last round of the Quilt block swap (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=430851.0#axzz2z5SpsAn6) i kind of fell in love with the technique for these blocks.(http://www.twomoreseconds.com/2011/03/blogging-process-my-3x6-bee-blocks.html
While i was recuperating from a possible mild concussion (self inflicted at hockey  Embarrassed) i decided the scrap bins were OUT OF CONTROL. And since it was low thinking easy work and easy to abandon when the headache started, i sorted them by colour. Fast forward nine hours over three days and i had tidy sorted scrap bags. But LOTS of them.

So stumped for a colour palette. I asked my facebook list. What their favourite colour was. This is the result. More or less in order how they came in.  There are a few blocks that. Were from actual conversations with people but i tried as much as possible to order them in properly. Smiley i was going to send this somewhere else to live.

But as i was pinning it i just couldnt let it pass. Im the only one who know which block is my cousins, or which one is the kid from the curling club. And it uses that absolute last wee scraps of the "all you need is love" word fabric that i love love love. So im keeping it. Now i have 14 quilts in my living room. Cheesy

The sad thing. I still have ooooodles of scraps. I. Think ill make another along the same line.

An old friend of ours is organizing an online auction for our local humane society. She asked if anyone would volunteer anything... Since all my kittehz have been rescues i absolutely would. Just finished the binding on this.

Now, fingers crossed for lots and lots of money. Cheesy

I love the lookof the cathedral window, and that grey is fantastic. But as much as i like it. I know id never have the patience for it.

Bucket list... Hmmm. Maybe a london underground in the style of the oh fransson tokyo subway map. But i think my yearly lists are sort of like my bucket list.

I know one i NEVER want to do... Dear Jane.

That said. I have three new finishes to show off. And two more almost finishes. But my phone died, crashed and imploded on the weekend. So. We have to wait to get the pics of the sd card. Smiley
