Silver coloured wire frame. Rainbow coated agate ovals to make the flower,  green aventurine pears making big leaves, aventurine chips as the small leaves and orange banded agate as the centre of the flower. Hope you like Smiley

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Eclipse wrapped cabochon necklace on: March 21, 2015 03:47:21 AM
We had an eclipse here in the UK yesterday. Where I live was too overcast to see it...but it inspired this bracelet. It is a juxtaposition of light vs dark, and the marcasite beads represent baileys beads. The base cabochon is hematite and I have used two different colour silver wires.  Hope you like!

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / charoite and wire ring. on: March 18, 2015 08:58:10 AM
I've been having a play around with this cabochon and finally settled on this ring. Hope you like!  Smiley

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / wire wrapped / weaved necklace on: February 26, 2015 09:29:08 PM
I made this today. I am really pleased with how it came out but I kind of cheated because I used a video tutorial to show me what to do. However I learnt some techniques from it so my plan today is to use some of those techniques and make my own design. Wish me luck! Smiley (I have pictures not in a collage if anybody is interested)
The stone is Labradorite Smiley

I made this pendant for my MILs birthday present. The stone in the middle is Labradorite.  Sorry the picture is not brilliant+
slightly annoyed as just realised I photographed the back!  Picture the wires the other way round lol!
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Another wire wrapped pendant. on: February 14, 2015 03:25:57 PM
I had a play at making a second wire wrapped pendant.  Tomorrow I will be looking at doing a different style Smiley

If there is interest I will happily host a second Smiley
8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / kumihimo and agate ring. on: February 10, 2015 05:06:52 PM
I made myself this pretty ring Smiley my hands/fingers are massive (my husband and I have the same wedding ring...but mine is a good few sizes bigger...Despite the fact he towers over me and is a lot more well built and overweight than I am! ) so I wanted something pretty but not too delicate. I used macram to create the ring out of S-lon thread and added a 12 mm purple banded Agate.
9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / wire wrapped necklace. on: February 09, 2015 04:05:05 PM
Made this pendant today. The stones are Lapis Lazuli (tear dropped shape) and Labradorite. Hope you like!
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Waistcoat lining/facing help needed please on: December 18, 2014 01:36:41 PM
Hiya, I am a fairly new sewer, made some bags and a skirt for myself etc but am now trying to make my husband a waistcoat for Christmas. I was getting along nicely and feeling proud of myself until I got to the instruction to sew the front facing and the front lining together with right sides together. And I am completely stuck! I know what right side together means, but my facing and lining are not the same shape when right sides are together. Should they be? The curves are the same in that it looks like they have been "spooning" position but whichever piece of front lining I put the savings on I can't get them to match up!! I hope this makes sense and somebody 42cm help! I have spent a good 4 hours trying to figure this out, and it really needs to be completed by the end of tomorrow!
I hope that this makes sense thanks for taking the time to read it =)
