Silver coloured wire frame. Rainbow coated agate ovals to make the flower,  green aventurine pears making big leaves, aventurine chips as the small leaves and orange banded agate as the centre of the flower. Hope you like Smiley

3  Eclipse wrapped cabochon necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Ratfinkz on: March 21, 2015 03:47:21 AM
We had an eclipse here in the UK yesterday. Where I live was too overcast to see it...but it inspired this bracelet. It is a juxtaposition of light vs dark, and the marcasite beads represent baileys beads. The base cabochon is hematite and I have used two different colour silver wires.  Hope you like!

So without further ado...

Everything together:

I got two bracelets (inclouding my first chain maille bone Smiley )
A Wicked notebook
2 pouches
2 pieces of fabric
and my magical, purple, pocket laden messenger bag.

8  Re: Little Visitor unicorn zombie apocalypse Round 20 - chainswarm in The Swap Gallery by Ratfinkz on: February 15, 2015 08:18:55 PM
Only managed to get one pic of Finn over the weekend as we went out for a meal on Friday (but as it was our valentines treat my husband thought it was unromantic to be taking photos of Finn so I could only snap a quick one before our food arrived while he was in the loo!) and after that I spent the weekend poorly Sad

10  kumihimo and agate ring. in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Ratfinkz on: February 10, 2015 05:06:52 PM
I made myself this pretty ring Smiley my hands/fingers are massive (my husband and I have the same wedding ring...but mine is a good few sizes bigger...Despite the fact he towers over me and is a lot more well built and overweight than I am! ) so I wanted something pretty but not too delicate. I used macram to create the ring out of S-lon thread and added a 12 mm purple banded Agate.
