I received the beautiful artwork from blupasian.  I can not tell you how much I love it I am a dragon collector so this is perfect for me.

Thanks Blupasian and apologies to everyone else.

I also sent the bracelet I made today so hopefully it should be with its new owner soon

I received most of my parcel yesterday and the scrapbook today Smiley I feel sorry for my partner having to pay postage to the UK twice - as she forgot to put it in the first package - sorry hon!

Here are the photos of what I received Smiley

Handmade crocheted coasters - there are actually 6 of them, they are so pretty and will be so useful Smiley

Altered matchbox full of whimsies Smiley

Kahiki's new fishy friend

Funky purple bag which is my new craft tote Smiley

Pretty lace - I will enjoy using this Smiley

Postcards, bookmark and a door hanger

The rest of the goodies (minus some yummy candy that didn't make it to the photoshoot!)

There was also a second pen which I have used already and could not find it to take a pic! The pen in the picture has a stylus on it's end! and look - beads! I LOVE beads Smiley some of these waterbaby made me from airdried clay - I can't wait to use them!

And a few of my favourite pages from the fabulous photo album

thanks for being a wonderful partner waterbaby and for hosting Mountains and Clouds Smiley now time to sort out the next Little Visitor ready for his travels Smiley

4  How to twist in Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions by Ratfinkz on: October 15, 2014 04:07:19 AM
Hiya, I bought a kit to make this necklace. It is macram string with 6 strings of beads twisted together. The pattern does not tell me how to do the twist though and whatever I do keeps coming untwisted. Anybody know how I can make it stay twisted? I am happy to undo if needs be.
This is how it should look (though it should be tighter)

This is how it does look.

6  Lacey bracelet! in Beads: Completed Projects by Ratfinkz on: September 27, 2014 01:05:15 PM
I REALLY need to practise my product photography so apologies for fairly crap photos - but I made this bracelet for myself recently - I never make anything for myself - so therefore I figured I should share this momentous occasion! If anybody knows any good resources re: product photography - please let me know!

It does not look so wonky while being worn!

And here is a  close up to show the detail -it is emerald green with purple joining beads.

constructive criticism welcomed Smiley

7  Mr and Mrs Ted in Knitting: Completed Projects by Ratfinkz on: September 27, 2014 12:37:55 PM
I made these Bride and Groom teddies for my stepsister as a wedding present, due to ill health we didnt end up going to the wedding - so I need to get them in the post! They were made following a pattern in "20 to make knitted bears by Val Pierce. They are about 8" high. The bride has a necklace made of tiny pearl beads, and a bouquet as well as her dress / veil. The groom is wearing a suit with tiny pearl beads as buttons and a pearl on his cravat as a tie pin. I hope you like them.

Love the picture! Smiley Mat colour I'm not sure about - I think black would make it stand out - but I am not an artist lol!

This is the bracelet I have made - although it is not a brilliant picture sorry - I will try to get a better pic! It is made from Tila beads, delica beads and bugle beads. It took me two days and is the first time i've played with Tila beads. I hope it is ok

eta: here is a close up showing the detail - please ignore the random bits of nymo - they will be tidied up before I post! Didn't notice them until the photo showed them up!

10  Buzzbee Bear in CHALLENGE 101 ENTRIES by Ratfinkz on: August 05, 2014 09:27:44 AM
So last weekend my Grandma had a stroke =( luckily she is beginning to improve but it was a nightmare week last week. As she is quite a while from us and we had my in-laws coming over the weekend we have just had we are unable to get to see her until next weekend. Because I could not be there in person I decided to send her a letter and a present. I had recently bought a book with 20 different teddy bears to knit. I had bought it to make a bride and  a groom bear for someone I know who is getting married and had seen this pattern for a bear dressed as a bee. At the time I thought that is perfect for Grandma, she used to keep bees and still loves them. I thought I would buy some wool and make it for a Christmas present,  but then decided to make it to keep her company while she is in hospital. As last week was the end of the month I was very low on funds, so rooted through my stash. I managed to find the right coloured wools, although they were all different makes and the black was cheap and kept coming unspun! Anyhow....Sorry for the essay, here is Buzzbee (in the book it is a she and she is called sweet honey bee but I thought it looked more masculine, even though there are few male honey bees, and Buzzbee sounded so much better for a name!)
