1  Santa and Mrs. Claus Cross Stitch Sleigh in Needlework: Completed Projects by kittykill on: March 20, 2017 09:10:57 AM
Last thing for the Geezer swap for Kbrison. She has a little Santa village so  I thought these would go great with her display. She can also hang them on the tree.

2  Felt Little Red Riding Hood Pin in Needlework: Completed Projects by kittykill on: March 20, 2017 09:07:29 AM
For the Geezer swap Kbrison had a few things pinned that were felt and Little Red Riding Hood, so I decided to combine the two.

3  Yeah Right Totebag in Needlework: Completed Projects by kittykill on: March 20, 2017 09:05:24 AM
For the Geezer swap Kbrison wanted a totebag with a snarky saying on it. She also loves flowers so I decided to mix sweet with sour.  Cheesy

4  Re: Ongoing Wish Swap Gallery and Discussion Round 134 (February 2017) in The Swap Gallery by kittykill on: March 20, 2017 08:56:00 AM
Welcome Spring! This wreath from Mlsocci74 was just what I needed. It is so drab and grey here right now. This wreath makes me happy and smile through the rain!

Thank you!

This was made for a friend who loves Disney. I also made one like this but the cozy part is pink for Aisy for the Warm and Cozy swap.

6  Honey Jug to Planter in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by kittykill on: March 07, 2017 08:56:22 AM
A friend of mine gave me a bunch of primroses but I didn't have enough pots to plant them in. I did however, have a plastic honey jug left over. We use A LOT of honey in our cooking/coffee/baking so we buy it in bulk.

I also have a lot of washi tape just waiting to be used.

I cut the jug and decorated it with washi tape.

I put a sealant on the planter so if it got wet, the tape will stay. I also sanded the top, so no jagged edges.

Now I want to make more of these for the backyard and front porch.

7  Mickey, Minnie and a Sweet Blue Bird Mug Cozies in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by kittykill on: March 06, 2017 03:13:50 PM
I wasn't sure where to put these, then I thought, "Well, you would use them for mugs...mugs are in your house..." So there ya go!  Anyhoo, a friend on mine on FB saw another mug cozy I did and asked me to make a few for her. She loves Mickey and Minnie Mouse. I did the little blue bird as an extra.

Everything is cut using felt with small little details stitched (eye lashes, nose, branch)

I need to clean up the edge around Mickey and then they are heading off to their new home.

9  Craftster Quickies: Floating Tea Cups in Completed Projects by kittykill on: February 28, 2017 10:51:23 AM

These tea cups were SO much fun to make.   You could use them for any theme or holiday. I am thinking I need an Alice in Wonderland or Halloween.

Check out the video on how I made them and don't forget to post your tea cup when you make one!
