As a crafter I find it so difficult to throw things away that could be used in a project later on.

My bedroom is full of junk that most other people would toss in the garbage in a second. I'm sure you guys can relate.

Here is what I did with a bunch of otherwise useless writing utensils:

I went crazy with a hot glue gun and glued all of them together.

The bottom is made of empty lead refill containers.

Here is one of the sides:

And here it is all filled up:

It's super simple and easy, but also super useful and got rid of my stash.

That would be such a good thing to do with pens that run out of ink or something. Very cool. Smiley

I love this idea.  I go through alot of pens and sharpies, and I also have a constant problem of my pen holder always being too full.  I'll have to make myself a jumbo holder like this one.  This rocks!

Dang it! I "collect" pens, pencils, markers, etc like it's going out of style... which means about every 6 months or so I have a HUGE amount of them that are dried up or out of ink. I just threw a few handfuls away last week and this would've been PERFECT for them.

Bookmarking so I'll remember next time I clean out the drawers.

Haha yeah. I usually just reach around for something to write with and that does end up happening.
