Wine Cork Crafts
|Share the love...||
|It’s hard to resist saving wine corks; there’s just something about them. I like to display mine in tall glass vases, but some time, I may be tempted to do some crafting with them. Here are some great ideas, using corks, that I have found on Craftster.
I fell in love with these little people that Angry Angel made by crocheting around the corks. She’s got soldiers, gnomes, Santas, ninjas and “space bugs” posted, with patterns(!), so you can make your own.
|HSG created this beautiful beach themed mosaic message board. She included hooks for keys, so this piece is extra functional, as well as beautiful.|
|Here’s another take on a corkboard, by SecondFiddle. It’s made with an old record album as a base.|
|According to Phizzychick, nothing says Christmas like a used wine cork. She used several of hers to make this fanciful Christmas banner. Her post includes other Christmas wine crafts as well.|
|If you just like the looks of cork and you’re looking for a great way to display them, you may want to make a shadowbox like this one, by phreed83. She suggests writing dates and events on the corks to commemorate special dates or bottles shared.|
I knew there was a good reason I was keeping all those corks! To see more, click on the Craftster tag “cork“. Cheers!
