Decoupage heels Craftsters are no strangers when it comes to making, reconstructing and painting shoes. Shoe crafting can be as simple as painting an image on a pair of thrifted heels to creating a pair of shoes from scratch.

Here’s a gander of what has been happening on the shoe board

Furry boots Mosnter shoe Pointe shoes
Revamped Crocs Rainbow heels Revamped Manolos
Archie flats Moccasins Tattoo wedges

I also noticed that Converse crafting is particularly popular, so I thought I should give them their own little section. :) Be sure to check out the Converse tag for oodles of these custom creations.

Bonus points if you can tell me who said this shoe quote, “Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them and you have their shoes.” :D

thank you for posting this because it reminds me i have 2 pairs of white shoes, plus orange sneakers and green sneakers, all waiting to be painted!

i think looking at the converse “build your own” shoes site and thinking “i could do something for NOT $65″ is also a good inspiration.

i did these, but it was a while ago and during a time that i didn’t have a good camera, so the pictures are not great:
