If you’ve got a slew of old tee shirts that you no longer wear, but just can’t stand to throw them out, this blog’s for you. Here’s what some creative Craftsters have done with their old shirts.

You’ll probably need to stock up on a several more shirts if you want to complete this first project: melissa! cut shirts into strips and then made a soft and fluffy latch hook rug.

StickerChic87 preserved some of her favorite shirts by cutting them up and sewing them together into a fun scarf.
You can set your table with one of a kind tee shirt placemats, like these by supermedic.
I would never guess that this swim suit by Gooberts is made from reconstructed thrift store tees. Would you?
Here’s an easy way to go green: grab two tees and make a reversible bag using the tutorial shared by starmumplus.

There are so many great projects on Craftster made from reconstructed tee shirts, whether it’s quilts, wearables, or other objects like those I’ve shown here. Look for tags like “reconstructed from teeshirts” and “tshirt recon”, and get inspired!
