This week, in honor of Halloween, we’re highlighting some crafts made from, or inspired by, the Ouija board. Ouija is a talking board, or spirit board. Users place their hands on a planchette, and “spirits” move the indicator to spell out answers to questions in a seance like setting. Ooo, spooky! Here’s what some of your fellow Craftsters did with their Ouija boards:

Knickertwist cut the board into rectangles, and then embellished each of them with buttons, metal parts, old stamps, etc., to make these wonderful chunky houses.

HorrorCraft carefully peeled the paper off the board she had, and decopaged it onto a lamp shade. She added a black feather boa and a feathered bird to make this one of a kind Ouija lamp.
ShaynaYasha made this great notebook for a swap partner. She even used the Ouija planchette on the inside cover as a pencil holder.
KMKMaven used her skills in photoshop to create this Ouija inspired clock.
rocknroll featured a Ouija board in this shrine, featuring some of the ways people put their fate in the hands of different fortune-telling devices.

Some may think the Ouija board is paranormal, but its interesting graphics and spooky reputation make it the perfect base for incredible crafts. You can find these and other Ouija crafts by clicking on the Craftster tags ouija and ouija board.
