I’m Beefranck, Queen of Ironic Stitching and Editor-in-Chief at Mr X Stitch. I know a thing or two about cool stitchery and it’s my pleasure to share my finds with you. So let’s do it!
Our friend Rachel over at Craft posted this Nyan Cat Quilt by Cheryl Sleboda recently, and I thought I’d show you some of the other cool stuff she’s made.
Cheryl says this QR code quilt has a positive message, but she doesn’t want to spoil the surprise. You’ll have to use a reader to find out what it is.
She made a mini quilt each week for awhile – there’s a whole set of them here.
My favorite of her mini quilts are the Star Wars themed ones.
Especially the jawa one – it has actual lights for eyes!
See more from Cheryl by visiting her Flickr photostream or her blog. Great things await!
Beefranck is the Queen of Ironic Stitchery and the binding polymer that holds together the Emergency Pants podcast, the Stitching n Junk podcast and MrXStitch, the best contemporary embroidery and needlework blog around. If you really want to get to know her, she’s usually getting up to shenanigans on Tumblr.
