Happy Clouds

Randomly Spotted on the Galactic Interweb…

Happy Clouds Imagine walking around London and seeing smiley faced clouds wafting through the air. That sounds… crazy, right? But an artist in London name Stuart Semple has done it! He released about 2,000 smiley clouds into the air just to cheer people up. I can honestly say that seeing that would definitely put a smile on my face! After reading through some of the comments on Make, he didn’t actually make the machine, it looks like he just rented it! Which means, other people can rent this machine… hmmmm… flying Craftster logos anyone? The company that makes them is called Flogos (like Flying Logos! :D). They have a cool demonstration on their website as well. Anyway, enough blathering, onto the cool stuff!

I was just in London not too long ago, I wish I had seen a floating smiley face 😀

  2. Rachel says:

whoa, these would be really cool at weddings!! People could make floating hearts or bells or something. Now, no more little kids running around with little bubble wands blowing sticky bubbles in your face or onto your bridesmaids’ dresses!

Hey! I was there! I work in Tate modern and on my way home I saw them releasing them. All the ones I saw had broken in half though, so they were like strange mouthless tops of heads :oS Great idea though!
