July 14 is Bastille Day, the day the French celebrate the end of the monarchy, and the beginning of the French Republic. The national holiday of France is celebrated with parades, fireworks and festivities. Happy Fête Nationale to our French Craftsters! If you are not French, why not honor Bastille Day with some French food, like this delicious onion soup, or a cute little French baguette stuffy? |
Whether you are French or just a Francophile, we’d love to hear how you marked Bastille Day this year!
But they’re marching to Bastille Day
La guillotine will claim her bloody prize!
French onion soup sounds great! And I had no idea what to make tonight, Vive la France!
Vive la France!
Usually we have a little bigger party, this year I’ll have to settle for a bottle of Beaujolais I think
We talked in a French accent all evening!
Quiche me!
I know this is old and I don’t know if anyone will notice, but where could one obtain one of those pins you have pictured? I can’t find them anywhere!
