Like many Craftsters, I absolutely adore my pets. Like nearly all Craftsters, I also adore junk. Specifically, taking something unloved and making it into something fabulous. When I randomly came across this awesome pet bed on the fantastic Junk Camp blog I nearly wept. It’s one of those “aha!” projects that is so brilliant you can’t believe you never thought of it.
It’s beautifully made, and comes with instructions. Make your pet feel like a king with an awesome fourposter bed all their own!

that is so cute:)
What a fantastic idea… but I would have to make four…
You could make yours into bunk beds!
haha Bunk beds! I’ve thought of bunk beds for mine…put the chihuahua on the bottom bunk and the bigger dog on the top. He would only have to barely step up to get into his bunk!
really fantastic… or a great doll bed for a little girl.
OMG!!! that is adorable!!! and if you go to the blog and look at the larger version of the second picture of Oliver lying on the bed, you can see how the green matches his eyes. this is awesome!
I love the color of that little lime green bed!! That cat should surely feel lucky!
If only I could use my amazing creativness to do something that crafty!
such a fantastic project! i must get my hands on an old end table… thanks for posting, it’s beautiful!
I remember seeing this in the magazine aswell. I noticed though, if somone didnt want to build it they could just turn a small side table upside down, screw on some bedknobs, paint and sew a pillow to fit.
haha wow I feel like a dork, I guess this -isnt- what I thought. Since clicking on the link brought me to somone who had my same exact idea I had on an image I saw in a mag.. sooo yea.. anywho.. >> Its cute
please Excuse my distyness!
At first sight I thought it was an upside-down Table: So there’s something to consider……….That is if you have a little old Table that doesn’t Qualify for being an Antique……
oh yeah, i thought they turned a bench upside-down, too. and put the cushion inside.
also: i think this will be even more improved by adding scratching rug material to the insides of the legs with a staple gun.
That’s awesome!!
ooohhh…. very very cool. You could probably find a table on your local Freecycle website (freecycle.org) and that way the table would be FREE lol…. just turn it upside down and voila
Love this! It’s beautiful.
Now how could you add a canopy…?
OMG! It would be so amazing with a canopy! I can’t belive they got the cat to stay and pose.
I bet you could construct a canopy frame with dowels. That would be cute! I’m sure my cats would want to pull it down, but a more civilized cat would love it!
