Falling For Autumn

There are signs that the heat is breaking where I live, so I can’t help but think of fall! I can’t wait to pull out my jeans and sweaters,  and enjoy the cooler weather. I can’t wait for the leaves to turn. I love the fall!

It was this wall hanging by LimeRiot that inspired me to search for fall crafts, and write this article this week. Note the rich colors and details on each leaf. Beautiful!

I love acorns, and I really love this acorn pincushion that seamlessgem made out of a yogurt cup! She used some scrap fabrics and a nice brown sock to make this one of a kind sewing accessory. There’s even a needle book tucked between the leaves.
barbolot made this serene leaf Dotee doll using hand painted fabric and embroidery. It’s the perfect little fall accent.
This is such a cute way to use acorn tops! BethanyJoy made this little crop of mushrooms to sit on a desk. I imagine this is somewhere a fall fairy might like to visit.
I’d like to decorate my mantle this year, so I’ll definitely be looking closely at this autumn bunting by Urban Threads. I love all the different fall colored fabrics she used.

Enjoy the change of seasons! There are tons of fall crafts on Craftster. If you’d like to see more, go to the tag cloud, and search “autumn”, “autumn decor”, or “fall”. You may also find similar crafts searching for “acorn”, or “leaf”. Happy crafting!

This wall hanging is astonished, very simple in its essence, but beautifull.
