Is your Christmas tree looking sparse? Do you need a last minute gift? Here are five clever ways to decorate those clear glass or plastic ornaments that are readily available this time of year.

Mountains and Clouds used a plastic ornament to make this adorable wintery scene.

These beautiful glittery ornaments by loveforart won’t leave messy glitter everywhere because the glitter is on the inside! Great idea.
Make yours a real family tree, by using family photos inserted into the ornaments. nikschaf used black and white copies of photos and accented her ornaments with bright red ribbons.

Ho ho ho! Here’s another fun idea from loveforart: it’s Santa! She put crumpled crepe paper inside the ornament, and then added a belt and golden buckle.
Once again loveforart shares a good idea; for these ornaments, she decoupaged sheet music on each ornament. Old book pages would also look great for this technique.

There are so many beautiful ornaments of all kinds to be found on Craftster. Click on the tags “ornament” or “Christmas ornament” to see many, many more.
