It’s summertime, and if you’ve got kids, chances are they’re at home and looking for something to do. Entertain them with crafty projects! Here are some fun projects that you can do with kids of all ages. Some may require little help from you, and some may require more supervision, but either way, you and your children can enjoy crafting together. Get those creative juices flowing!

Make some beautiful “marbled paper” using shaving cream and food coloring! Use this handy tutorial by candycanechild to make colorful swirly paper that can be used for artwork or greeting cards.

Here’s one that will definitely require adult supervision, but the finished product is just so darn cute: make some fun and funky bracelets out of cheap toothbrushes, using this tutorial by lil_abi.
Decorate old puzzle pieces to make fun art clips to hang up your child’s masterpieces. Better make plenty, so you’ll have some to give to all the aunts and uncles and grandparents! Click on the link or photo to see the tutorial provided by Phizzychick.
Here’s a great idea posted by Antidigger: for a painting project that needs little or no cleanup, have your children first make their own paintbrushes out of scrap paper. What a great way to recycle. Plus, when the painting’s done, you can just throw the brushes away!
Your child will love their own at-home drive in movie experience! sweets4ever surprised her son with this drive in  setup, complete with a favorite video, tasty snacks, other patrons, and a very cool car made from a cardboard box. Older children would probably enjoy creating their own cars. How fun is that?

You can find lots of wonderful crafts to do with children on Craftster. What are you making with your child this summer?
