Pincushion Tattoo This month’s featured tattoos come from kellyhelene. They are just some good old fashioned basic sewing tools done with great style and great colors! The pincushion is based off of the one she uses. It was originally her mother’s! That’s one tough tomato. The sewing machine is also based off of her first machine! “A late 60s avocado green Kenmore” from her grandparents. She also has seams running up her legs from her ankles to her thighs, with buttons at each end! Adorable, but apparently also painful. If you’re an FOC you can check out more info about her leg tattoos here. Thanks kellyhelene for showing off your awesome tats!

AWESOME tats! I am very impressed with your choice of body art. Not the run-of-the-mill hearts and flowers that a lot of women(including me haha) choose. I love the bright colors in the sewing machine and the tomato pincushion brings back memories to all of us…me of my grandmother’s sewing room. And the stocking seam? Well, how very brave of you to run that all the way down your legs!!! LOL Cool! My husband will be very impressed when I show him.

:D Wow! I’m really flattered to be mentioned among the awesome ink already featured here!

I have to give a shout-out to my artist for anyone in the Western NY/ Buffalo area who is looking to get some work. Derek at Renaissance Tattoos is fantastic. I came in with the ideas, but he really ran with them.
