It’s almost here! Leap Day only occurs every four years, so let’s celebrate! You know what they say (at least on NBC’s “30 Rock”): “Nothing that happens on Leap Day counts. Real life is for March.” Tomorrow, February 29th, take advantage of this special “extra” day, and pull out all the stops. C’mon! It’s Leap Day!

First off, you’re going to need to decorate. How about a cheery banner, like this one by TheMistressT? Hers says “celebrate”, which works for any occasion.

It’s a big day, so get fancy! How about some polka dotted fingernails, like these by PinkyDoll. If you’re a 30 Rock fan, you’ll want to do these in the official Leap Day colors: yellow and blue.
Don’t forget, “real life is for March”. Live a little and give yourself a crazy new ‘do with Cyberlox. Here’s a great tutorial by ArabellaCraft for making these colorful falls.
Nothing that happens on Leap Day counts, so have a giant piece of cake with lots of icing. Better yet, have another! Indulge! You can worry about that diet in March. This yummy looking rainbow cake, made by claraohara, is just the ticket.
If you’re of legal drinking age, have a nice glass of homemade grog to wind the day down. Here’s a recipe, provided by Craftster member Goomba. Sit back and enjoy your Leap Day. Because March first, real life begins again.

It does only happen every four years, so what better reason to celebrate? Have a wonderful, crafty, crazy Leap Day, from your friends at Craftster.org.
