Book Introduction: Hat Heads
|Share the love...||
| I have a new goal: become friends with Trond Anfinnsen. Having just read his fun new book, HatHeads I have concluded that Trond is a generous, fun, talented and entertaining guy, who made hats for everyone he knows! This book not only includes 50 knitted hat projects, but some very interesting stories about Trond and his friends and family, and their life in Norway. The book came about when he took up knitting, and decided to make hats for everyone he knew, and give them away. Around the same time, his friend and electonica band-mate, Klaus Nilsen Skrudland, took up photography. Trond made hats, Klaus took pictures of hats, and so this charming book was born. The hats are fun and varied, and the story of the projects, and kind, observant profiles of the recipients are a treat. This is a fun book to own, or to give away – perhaps accompanied by hat!
