On February 9, 1964, the Beatles gave their first live US television performance on The Ed Sullivan show, taking America by storm. This week marks the 50th anniversary of that historic performance, and it’s obvious by the shear number of Beatles crafts posted on Craftster that Beatlemania is still going strong today.

iamdolleyes used freezer paper stencils to make these awesome portrait pillows of the Fab Four.

fluffypants hand painted these amazing shoes celebrating the Yellow Submarine movie.
jungrrl made great use of some Beatle’s fabric, and created this wonderful quilt as a gift for her sister.
MsPremiseConclusion crocheted the perfect little yellow submarine.
And teachart made this set of embroidered applique coasters using the cartoon drawings from Yellow Submarine.

Are you a Beatles fan? If so, you’re definitely going to want to click on the Craftster tag “Beatles“, where you’ll find all sorts of inspiration, from tee shirt recons, to messenger bags, to shadow boxes. There’s even a Beatles bra!
