For those in the Boston or L.A. areas, the Bazaars Bizarre are happening this weekend! The Cleveland one happened last week. I’m behind the ball — I meant to post about that one before it happened! The event in Boston is on Saturday (December 11) and the L.A. event is on Sunday (December 12).

I’ll be there pimping my crafty wares at the Boston event. There are over 60 amazing vendors at the Boston event this year.

Phew! Now that the event is over … I can sleep again! It was amazingly popular and crowded again. We are absolutely positively going to rent the biggest space we can possibly find next year. (Any suggestion for huge not-too-expensive venues in the Boston area?)

Here are a few pics I took…

The calm before the storm! Vendors setting up their tables:

It got crowded very quickly and stayed that way for the entire event:

Here’s the swag I sold at my table:

Man, I used to live in Boston and am now in Miami– and I miss the Bazaar! I’m glad it went well. If you’re looking for a good space to have it in the future, try to hook up with one of the MassArt kids (I hear all they have to do is request meeting facilities and they’re yours). Any chance you’ll be cooking anything up in South Florida?

For those interested in having a Bazaar Bizarre in their own city, we’re going to have some information about starting your own on the website. Check back in January: http://www.bazaarbizarre.org/

I’d love to see one here in Memphis! Can’t wait for the info. :D

Just as an FYI, the term “Bizarre Bazaar” is a registered trademark of a Los Angeles based fetish swap meet. If you mistake the two, you might be in for quite a shock! :)

i was at the cleveland Bazaar Bizarre and it was as dark as a cave in there! most of us vendors were left in the dark when half of the track lighting in the place malfunctioned. it’s hard to sell your wares when noone can see them!
