Anything But Clothes parties are tons of fun! If you’re not familiar with the concept, the party-goers are required to arrive wearing clothing fashioned out of unconventional materials like shower curtains or plastic tablecloths. If you’re going to be attending an Anything But Clothes party soon, you could, of course, take the easy way out and cut a couple of holes in a black plastic trash bag, but HEY! You are a Craftster, and this is the perfect opportunity to let your creativity shine through. You need to show the other party goers what you’re working with. In case you need a little creativity jump start, here are some great examples of wearable items made from unique materials from some of your fellow Craftsters.

It is perfectly fine to use black trash bags, as long as you work with them and construct them as nicely as myFEIGNINGheart did. Look how beautiful they can be!

The main problem at a Anything But Clothes party is the decision over what to wear and what to use to create the outfit. These are some really great ideas – I especially love the Skittles outfit, how unique!
