Glue Glorious Glue
The website ThisToThat.com is a non-commercial, unbiased guide to just about every kind of glue available. It was started in 1999 by a theater prop builder so I imagine this person has been through many trials and tribulations with glue!
One of the coolest things about this site is the handy feature where you pick the two things you are gluing together and it tells you what glue is best to use.

It’s a great way to learn about different kinds of glue out there. For example, as a crafter you probably tend to use a lot of these kinds of glues:
PVA – like good old Elmers glue

Silicone – E6000, Household Goop and other smelly glues like that

Cyanoacrylates – super glue
