Summer may be winding down for us in the Northern Hemisphere (lucky Southern Hemispherers are just moving into Spring!), but there is still time to make a splash at your favorite pool or shore in a fabulous handmade swimsuit! |
Our crafty members have made all sorts of creative swimsuits for women, kids, and men, They have reconned, sewn, knit and crocheted suits with yarn, spandex, tshirts, men’s underwear, track pants, pvc, faux fur, and more We are happy to share a sampling of the awesome swimsuits you can find in the boards.

Which one is made from mens underwear?
None of these, it’s here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=40825.0
These are awesome! When making a suit out of lycra or spandex to actually wear in the water, how much negative ease would you generally allow for? I love the idea of not spending an arm and a leg and my first born child on another suit, but I really need one so I’d like to try making one!
Thanks for the post!
