| Potted Horsetail Rush |
 | This plant is available for pre order at this time. Place your order now, and we will begin shipping pond plant orders April 23rd, 2013.The Horesetail rush looks very much like bamboo in its in color and texture. It should be planted in 2 to 4 foot pots to allow maximum growth, and this plant can spread out quite a bit if it is allowed to do so, and could possibly crowd out other nearby plants so allow plenty of room to keep it under control. This plant does not produce flowers or seeds, but it does grow a spore producing tip on the ends of some stems. The Horsetail Rush should not be completely submerged in water but can grow well with feet wet full time. It should not be allowed to dry out. This plant is an ancient plant that has been on the earth for hundreds of millions of years, even before dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Can be planted in shade, partial sun, or full sun. |
