Blender pitcher and blade can be easily cleaned without disassembly. Never immerse the blender base or cord in water. Never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. To clean the blade, place pitcher on the blender base and fill one-half full of warm water. Add 1 or 2 drops of dishwashing liquid and place lid on pitcher. Press the stir button and run the blender for 5 to 10 seconds. Remove the pitcher, empty contents and rinse the pitcher in warm water. Both pitchers are also bottom rack dishwasher-safe. To clean the lids and the ingredient and drizzle caps, wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. Or, place these pieces in the top rack of dishwasher.
