It prevents me from reaching the high notes. Also I do not like the sound of most basses. They are usually too round and you can't hear the notes. So I designed the Punisher to deliver a BIG SOUND. - Gene SimmonsThe Punisher 2 is an update of the original with a mahogany body and bolt-on Canadian rock maple neck. Its rosewood fretboard is adorned with white pearloid diamond inlays. Mighty Mite MMPB-4 and MMJB-R pickups provide the kind of growl that Gene needs when he's conquering the biggest stages the world over. It's all packaged with a killer black finish with white trim.
