While the Normal Channel operates with solid-state precision, the Valve Channel uses a 12AU7 vacuum tube to create the smooth, classic warmth that VOX tube amps are known for. Reverb, Chorus, and an anti-feedback filter are of special appeal to the acoustic performer. The two-channel AGA30 features both a Normal and a Tube Pre-amp channel - complete with a 12AU7 dual triode vacuum tube. The Tube Pre channel's combo jack provides a standard guitar input, as well as an XLR microphone input with selectable phantom power. The Normal channel offers a standard 1/4 guitar jack input. An additional Lo-Z / Hi-Z switch on each input accommodates a variety of signal levels. Each channel offers Bass and Treble EQ controls. Chorus or Reverb can be applied to both channels. The Anti-Feedback control minimizes acoustic feedback. The AGA30 provides 30 Watts through a 6.5 speaker. |
