MLB Boston Red Sox Carl Yastrzemski Signed Baseball with "3419 Hits" Inscription
Carl Yastrzemski made his Major League debut with the Boston Red Sox in 1961 and for the next 23 years he proudly wore his famous "#8" for the Sox. He had an extraordinary batting style and unmatched skill in patrolling the grounds in front of the Green Monster, and during Boston's "Impossible Dream" season in 1967, he won the American League Triple Crown and was named the A.L.'s Most Valuable Player. "Yaz" was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1989. Using a blue ballpoint pen, Carl Yastrzemski has hand signed this official MLB baseball on the sweet spot and added the inscription "3419 Hits" to commemorate his 1989 enshrinement in the Hall of Fame. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
